Internet Packet Node and Chat Linking via AXIP with BPQ32 and Linbpq

As we finish up the packet radio series, I wanted to make sure to talk about Node to Node linking over the Internet with AXIP. BPQ32 and Linbpq support linking nodes over the internet by sending AX25 traffic over an IP network. I will also touch on CHAT application linking so that users can talk across nodes that way as well.

I see you setting up for AXUDP but not setting up for AXIP. UDP is also known as "spray and pray".

What you are thinking of is TCP vs UDP. This is still "AXIP", as UDP is still a transport layer using IP addressing. AXIP is just short for the encapsulation of AX.25 frames in IP without regard to the transport layer.

just a hint to those with internet obtained via mobile network operators, they may not allow port forwarding because of their double natted network.
