I recently discovered the dark academia aesthetic. I've never been so drawn to an aesthetic before. Dark Academia embodies so many things I already enjoy. I have some upcoming dark piano pieces that fit perfectly into this aesthetic, so there will definitely be a volume 2. 🖤
This hauntingly beautiful painting is called "Vision of St. Francis of Assisi" by Jusepe de Ribera.

I know some of you have been waiting for more than 2 years. Volume 2 is finally here!! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/grpmg86VuZioo5s.html My music is created from the heart and I’m blessed it has reached so many of you beautiful souls. The comment section is wholesome, thank you for all your lovely comments. I’m glad this became a safe space for you to share what you feel and connect with kindred spirits 🤍 I'm truly grateful to everyone who's been listening, liking, commenting and sharing.. I appreciate you opening your heart to my music. I know how hard it is sometimes to feel all our emotions, this is one of the reasons why I compose music, to let myself feel deeply… Many have been wondering about the author of these pieces. I've included one cover in the playlist, my re-arrangement of the song ‘Once Upon a December’ by Stephen Flaherty. All the rest are original pieces I've composed and produced over the years. I’m Mounia Sebti and Invadable Harmony is my artist name, it’s the eerily bewitching home to my musical creations. Once Upon a December is one of my favorite pieces, and it makes me thrilled to see many of you loving my eerie version just as much I do 🖤 Here’s the tracklist🥀 Whispers - Invadable Harmony 0:00 Lament - Invadable Harmony 3:02 Broken - Invadable Harmony 5:03 Lost - Invadable Harmony 7:08 Once Upon a December (Cover) - Invadable Harmony 9:21 Song of the Crows - Invadable Harmony 11:54 The Last of It - Invadable Harmony 15:17 Beautiful Splatter - Invadable Harmony 17:36 The Abyss - Invadable Harmony 20:14 All Gone - Invadable Harmony 22:25 Restless - Invadable Harmony 25:08 Unspoken - Invadable Harmony 27:45 Ravage Souls - Invadable Harmony 29:44 Wraith - Invadable Harmony 30:57 Waiting - Invadable Harmony 33:10 Shadows - Invadable Harmony 36:41 Memory - Invadable Harmony 38:57 Longing - Invadable Harmony 41:09 Fallen Angel - Invadable Harmony 44:01 Music by Invadable Harmony. She reaches with a dainty hand towards the book and opens it up. As the page flips, small spheres of light float upward ever so gently. Like a cloud's tear running along the window pane. So delicate. @@whatabouttheearth If you say so. However, death to me is a delicate process. Although it's considered an end, its always a begging to something else. It's grim but happens silently. I didn't want a spark, which is how I saw your description. I wanted a feather gently falling, "dainty." Ps. The "spheres of light" wasn't actually "dust" although it sounds like it is.
@whatabouttheearth
@whatabouttheearth 2 жыл бұрын
@@jelly4364 Interesting. You saw "algid and aching" as a spark? My point was non common words with texture paint something more. And yeah, I just added dust, usually it symbolizes something near an end, as in old and decrepit, ashes to ashes. Taphonomy and Anatomy vocabulary assists well in creatively speaking of death, Thanotology also, but that's mainly about loss and grief counseling. There is an interesting article titled 'An Ecological Perspective on the Role of Death in Creation' by John R. Wood that you may find interesting. (Even though I think religion is absurd, still an interesting article) Some good books available for free on Library Genesis (almost any book can be found there for free): 'Life Everlasting: The Animal Way of Death's by Bernd Heinrich 'The Biology of Death' by Gary C. Howard 'Vertebrate Taphonomy' by R. Lee Lyman 'Manual if Forensic Taphonomy' edited by James T. Pokines & Steven A. SYMES 'Taphonomy of Human Remains'

The black candle flickered in the window as the drafty old frame no longer closed properly. The home like the window was falling into disrepair with each year that past. Be careful what you wish for said the candle as it might just come true. Brilliant music for writing.

I was shocked by the end of the first song and thought "well that was WAY too good for just a random compilation, I gotta know who did this". I'm in love. I also like this dark academia aesthetic and, as a painter and writer, really needed some fresh and beautiful new music like this. THANK YOU!

He peeked around the corner once more, to look at the girl who had, just before now, looked at him with such a light and passion, and hope. He hated how she saw hope when she looked at him. For he had nothing to feed her hope. Everything she thought of him was built upon lies and simple deceits. As he turned away, he assured himself once more, that he deserved nothing. He deserved nothing and wanted everything. And she deserved the world, but he knew, the world does not deserve her. So that is why he must protect her from it. And the truth.

"When I lie in the comfort of rain, each drop is a world of happiness, and I forget my troubles. My worries, my doubts -- all melt when grey skies return. Each time, I forget that the blinding light of the sun returns to torment me day after day, until winter arrives, and the drops of happiness that I loved so dearly quickly become nothing but cold and painful ice with naught but malice and despair contained deep within. Yet, it feels as if each winter is longer than the last, with no closure as it melts away into spring, once again to bring a downpour of joy upon the world around me. This time is different, however. Where once was comfort in skies of gray, and mirth in drops of rain, now shows only longing in the skies, and numbness upon my skin. The sun still blinds me, the ice still harms me, but now even the happiness of rain no longer comforts me."

I have been lucky and unlucky enough to have that kind of " family " myself . I heard from word of mouth last night my mom may be dead . I went out anyway as planned . I have no regrets . If she is dead she would have dug the event I was at . If she is not ... Oh well she leached off of me my entire youth and helped form this me that has to use things like air quotes around words like family . If I have to say brother I use them to with a nasty metal like taste in my mouth I think of it as tasting my own blood on fangs I no longer really have but I feel them . I remember there fangs in my young skin they fed on me until I had nothing left and a man came and helped me push them out so I have a chance now to come back and heal a little now . Then I was worse . Now I have faced more and seen things I can not come back from . There is no unlearning . I tried rewiring my mind . Nothing removes the truth .

This piece is so symphonic and soulful. I gives me this feeling I can't describe it's like when your a 1800s philosopher, writer, poet, I've recently been taking interest in this topic and the meaning of life is something that just fascinates me. writing poetry is a way to let my feelings out and emotions. Also I ways felt connected to the victorian era it feels like I been in this time period before. When I read storys or watch movies of the victorian era I get this magnificent feeling a fascinating feeling I really wish I was from this era the people who are listening to this right now all have amazing music taste and elegant music taste.

This really set me in the mood for my book I’m reading. My book is Marked. It is the first book in A House of Night series by P. C Cast + Kristen Cast they are mother and daughter. It’s really good so far and I definitely recommend it from this point on chapter 19. It a YA book, and it has fantasy, romance, vampire literature, horror (not really), paranormal romance, supernatural fiction, paranormal fiction, and contemporary fantasy. I didn’t know exactly what the genre was so I just googled it. But if you have read twilight it’s like that

This is my type of music. I can see myself walking in Aokigahara Forest whilst listening to this. Feel the emotions/energy of those who lost hope and ended it all. Quiet, beautiful, but then mix it with the tears, the anger, hopelessness. Looking out into the deep forest knowing those who went in, will never come out.

this masterpiece reminds me of three years ago.. when i was a loser, i lost my dad, and i lost the love of my life, my first love. it wasn’t a lost, i just lost feelings, i thought i can live happily without him. but no, everything change to dark, and darker… i’m good now but i wish i was dead, because it’s not the life that i want, i wanted a life with my dad , and have him as my partner:) now.. i’m alone alone in a dark room alone in a dark life alone in a dark decade i know that everything will be okay but when? i miss him and my dad.. i wish i could talk to them in a room , and ask them many questions that is running in my head. he, my first love is married to another girl now and i miss him. i just miss the times that we were friends watching movies together playing games together even crying together. he, my dad now is in a cold grave a cold graveyard i’m scared that he’s cold.. i can’t hug him, and make him feel warmer, i’m scared that he has no one to talk. i really miss them and this playlist makes me miss them more.

You gave me a idea as an artist I thank you… I made a grim reaper character that has no emotion had long dark silky hair, eyes that where hollow, a samurai sword that cuts deep, a voice that would make people shake in fear… everyone but a little girl…”Hello sir, What’s your name”… He didn’t respond to her… Her little eyes beaming up upon him… His eyes where darker than the night sky… “Are you from here?”she said with curious face… “No an Yes” he said with no expression… “What?? Your silly mister” She said with a giggle “Your cloths are funny looking, aren’t you cold?” She said… “I’m fine, the cold doesn’t bother me”… silence for a moment… “Its snowing very badly out side, mama says to never go out there”…”Or else you would be swallowed by the snow”… he ever so slowly starts to reach his sword the suddenly, he felt a little tug on his pants… “Hey are you okay? Let me check your temperature” he paused for a moment… he kneeled down on one knee and closed his eyes, leaning his head down, so she can reach with her small arms…but she didn’t put her small hands on his head but, his pale ice cold cheeks.” Your very cold, brr” she said with a shiver… He quickly pulled away for he didn’t expect that. His eyes slightly open with disbelief “ Did I scare you? Oh I’m sorry, mommy says it’s not nice to scare someone”….strange he thought… why can she see him, if she’s still alive she shouldn’t be able to.. she the little girl had cuts and bruises, covering her face to her small feet. Her hair brown as a willow tree, her eyes where green so full of life yet, she doesn’t… he couldn’t help but curiously enough, felt a bit warm on the inside… AND That’s where I stop if you like what you read, Do tell me and like the comment I’ll write more somewhere else!! Drink water have a good day or night!!!!
