This is fairly accurate. Ive interned and worked on automation projects in the middle office and currently work full time in the post trade operations (back office). Now in my case the salary is ~20% better than the one listed in this video. Additionally, most of the staff in the middle office were people who started in the mo itself and in off cases back office and more rarely front office.

Good question, some jobs but not all. The ones that will remain are ones or parts of the job where human interaction and opinions are important. The verification, calculation and reporting will definitely disappear soon

AS-Salam I'm currently working as back office in fixed income settlement for OTC Derivatives (IRS and CDS) in Citi bank Can you please confirm that the salary I earn is permissible as per Islam.

Walakum salaam.i would say generally yes but at the same time working with products directly linked to interest e.g. IRS. I always stayed away from those products.
