LucySky. It really is simple. You're in a long term romantic relationship with someone that you love. If it's not about sex, it's based on mutual affection. If you find someone with whom you have more mutual affection with you should break up with your current GF/BF and go out with this new person. It really isn't hard. You tell the person that you're with that you've found someone that just makes you happier and that it's nothing to do with them, and they shouldn't feel in anyway bad, just know that it clearly wasn't meant to be.

My favorite Cheaters ep was the one where the girlfriend of like 2 years tracked down her boyfriend and showed up ... at his wedding to someone else. The wife-to-be figured out what was happening, sided with the girlfriend, and the two left in a car together without him. Left him stranded at his outdoor ceremony with the crowd and his shame.
