Kanye West has been getting into a bit of trouble recently. In the run-up to promoting his latest album, a controversial interview featuring him went viral, as did his new single "Lift Yourself", due to its....unique lyrics! We decided to get some of our resident Irish People in to TRY HQ to see what they thought of his antics.

TMZ pulled his statement out of context. There is a full interview online somewhere, and he explains himself. TMZ just pushed that one snippet out of context. Slavery didn't last 400 years, so that should tell you something about what he is actually saying. That even after slavery ended black people are still choosing to be slaves. He was saying they are still slaves today, and they are choosing to be slaves. Hence 400 years. It's in the full interview, but TMZ doesn't care, this was a hitjob.

holy chubs ok. Short version: the Facts channel was mismanaged by the owners that didn't pay their staff and accumulated debts. They were forced to stop and try to sell it to avoid bankrupcy. All the contributors banded together and a new channel, TRY was born. Without meddling from management, they are now free to name the people in the vids.

I think he means the choice is people who still have that mentality. Who still define who they are and what they can do based on something that happened to someone else in the past. Also, in the U.S., the Democratic party is very much about using the government to give things to the people. To them, your rights are yours because the government secured them for you. Which is not the case. According to the Constitution, a person's rights are inalienable, and therefor cannot be GIVEN or TAKEN by the government. The government raises an army to protect you while you live life your way, but a government didn't give you your rights. If your right to pursue happiness were given to you by the government, they could just as easily take it away. The Democratic party wants people to believe that they NEED the government to fight their every battle, when that isn't how we created this country in the first place. I have a hard time believing that anyone who comes from anywhere else would understand that. There is no other place on the planet like The United States. No other constitution is like ours, in that humans are born with rights, rather than the government giving out rights. ***EDIT: Oh wait, I'm using logic again. Gonna get kicked out of here too."***
