very common thing to do, is buy cheap chinese tires before you sell the car. See it all the time, heck, even CarMax does that.

I literally just just my Michelin pilot super sport tire blow out completely from a pot hole. So it can happen with quality tires as well

I once bought good years, only to have them dry crack bad within a full year. I only run Chinese tires now on multiple vehicles. Never a problem, and if I did have a problem, 100 bucks for a 20-inch isn't a big deal. Compared to 300-400 dollar brand names. If you are racing on track, sure splurge for that good set, but everyday economy drivers, no problem.

Hankook isn't a bad tire, no issues with quality. General as well, good quality and fair priced.

I have tires from China. DYNAMO is the brand there over 4 years old and still great. Never over inflate tires especially in very hot weather.

They may be cheap but they have been good for me tread has been decent my last tires with dynapro just seemed to always spin out in the rain so I went with these and they have been fine

Mastercraft or better I don't spring for the high dollar ones either as I don't use them for anything but a to b. If I were to though, Goodrich or Firestone.

That's why you buy Goodyear, nitto, toyo or Mickey Thompson.

My Ironmans say made in Vietnam. You lost me with the made in China being bad as Chinese cars have come a long way and so have everything they are making. I remember when made in Japan was called junk and today Ford says they sold less because they had to fix major problems first. Its 2024. Lets say we review based on item rather than country as we know owners can trash anything and your results may differ greatly.
