Positive character development! The difference is that back then Connor tended to put his foot in his mouth (like trying to tease Mouse about mic noise only for her to admit it was the hose on her oxygen tank). Now he knows what jokes to make Mouse laugh along with him, and it helpfully fills in what might otherwise be dead air while Mouse has to attend to whatever's beeping at her.

I was shopping with my mom once, and we were at the back of the store. I joked with her and told her to move her huge ass back so I could get through. And the moment she started backing up, one of the delivery trucks to the store outside started blaring it's BEEP BEEP BEEP sound that large load trucks have to use when backing up. Shit was hilarious at the time

@@michaeldaniels642it actually sounds more like the smaller pump machines used for things like TPN or maybe something along those lines. for someone who heavily requires at-home care for a very extended period of time, you wouldn't need to be hooked up to a heart rate monitor 24/7 as your primary nurse would prob come out daily to get your vitals

Lol some might say he's being insensitive, but to me, what he's doing is what alot people should do for any friend they know who has some form of disability. A close friend of ours has gotten deaf in one ear, and yes at first she was upset with it. But As soon as she started feeling better, we joke about it, use it to poke fun, and she pokes fun at us. We had outside folks ask us if its actually doing it, but she said in following: "Of course its fine! Look listen, I prefer people to treat me like how they treat every other friend they have, and not...Not like, tip-toe around sensitive stuff. It's much nicer just, joking about it and talking about it rather than people trying to avoid it. THAT feels much worse."
