He's definitely a bust, he's not the worst bust but he's a bust. By the time he was drafted they had put some very good talent on the field including his draft. His draft included Denzel Ward and Nick Chubb, then the year before Myles Garrett was drafted #1 overall who is one of the best defensive ends in the league. One of the best offensive lines, the best RB duo, one of the best put together teams during his time there.

She's right. Players like Cam and Michael Vick saved those franchises. Cam instantly made the Panthers relevant and constant contenders. Honestly it didn't matter what he had around him. His physical talent and charisma alone did wonders for the team. And in his Prime he was the best overall Football Player. Baker is very up and down but mostly down. I don't think he's trash but he just couldn't get it together lol

Why is Acho attacking Justin Herbert. He has the same number of picks as Baker and he’s played more games. Also in Bakers one play off game the first play from scrimmage was the center for the Steelers snapping the ball over Ben’s head and the browns recovered it in the enzone.

Dawg, I was thinking of David Carr, but actually Couch works as well. He had more interceptions than TD’s and he could never stay healthy. However, my real point is about Baker so if you don’t want Couch on the bust list then that’s fine. I think it’s safe to say that neither lived up to their draft position. Not trying to be argumentative but just an FYI, Couch is always listed on ESPN’s Draft Bust list. Perhaps Baker will end up on their list eventually too.

Baker is a good QB that thought of and arrogantly carried himself as an elite QB. The expectations of a #1 overall QB, plus his above average(at best) skill set, plus his over inflated ego, equals Baker being traded and a playing his way to the bench. From here on out his career arc will be that of a quality back-up QB.

Man he a Tyler Heineke that caught eyes at right moment in college. Matter of fact if Tyler don't play Tampa that year, he might have a playoff win (only thing baker has on Tyler). Same style and arm

Correction, average(at best) skill set. Not above average. I would say that someone like Jimmy G would be above average. Baker isn't on his level, he is a few levels below.

Crazy thing is if he was humble and accepted where he stands in the league (high-end backup), he'd still be in Cleveland playing with a far superior roster. Jimmy G's current opportunity in SF is a prime counter. Didn't pout. Didn't cry. Conducted himself like a professional. There are life lessons in sports. This is one of them.

@@MKO3090 funnily enough, if Baker had sat out last year when he got injured in week 2, he’d probably at least have been franchise tagged by the Browns and got a fat payday. Or they may have even gave him a fat contract but then they realize they just gave a huge contract to a pumpkin.

It's just fukdup how they didn't just give P.J. Walker job during training camp.. they went out of their way to give those white quarterbacks a chance..spoke high on both of them even though their resumes show that they were absolutely horrible..the man literally had to wait for both of them to fall on their face for him to get an honest opportunity to be the starter when he deserved it right out of the gate..but congratulations to him now the team will automatically start looking and doing better with PJ Walker the obviously better quarterback.

Dude, it’s not always about race. I’ve watched walker play before this game and there’s nothing special. Baker is a better qb than walker but not good enough to be a franchise qb. I’d like to see walker do his thing and become a legit starter and earn another contract but I don’t see it happening. There’s a reason why he was 3rd on the depth chart. Even Sam darnold is better but he’s not healthy. It’s not always about race big guy, sometimes it’s about money and talent but he’s getting his chance. Let’s see what he does and I wish him the best.

Acho talked about the list like Elway and Eli Manning actually played for the Colts and Chargers. Elway played his entire career in Denver and Eli for the Giants and they both won 2 Superbowls each.

eli and elway got out of teams that drafted them for other teams. eli's dad played a role in him going to the giants in a trade. rivers owned eli 3 times they played, in which rivers was part of the switch.

Baker had a better career than these highly first round picks: Haskin, Donald, Rosen, Field, TreLance, Fat Russells, Jordan Love, Matt Jones, Manziel. The chances QB turn out to bust is high
