She can loose a lot. But if she can put pressure on HYBE and their believability in court of public opinion maybe she can get them to give in. I think that was the plan but she had to step up about it because HYBE attacked first having noticed what she is doing/planing to do. Now the time goes too fast for her to win. She would have to direct people, given them instructions on what specific steps to take for it to be a case against her. She did not do that so no case on that front. I haven't seen evidence of that, and media won't give up their sources, The press conference she held ; that is her directly running her mouth to media, so there might be a case to be made there, but until all court docs are released we have no way of knowing.

Love this! First off Karma is an Army. Involving BTS put the universe against her. Hybe was justified in investigating the claim by doing an audit, which is conducted by an outside firm. MHJ was not compliant with the audit by refusing to hand over her work laptop even though she was offered a new one and the opportunity to transfer any work related things, she still refused, why. Do not tell me it was her right because it was not as it was a work laptop and not hers. In an audit it is required by the auditors. She had already complained about BeLift and Ilet at that time which was looked into and found that there was no plagiarism. At the conference she did not answer any questions re the audit etc just complained how she was not supported by Hybe and they had let them down. We're discussing plagiarism because Belift Lab, another company under Hybe, is going to sue MHJ for publicly declaring another girl group under Belift Lab as a copy of her work.

BTS each owns about 1% of Hybe shares, worth almost 8 million dollars for each of them, except RM, Suga and Jin who sold a small part. So they can attend the shareholders' assembly and vote. As a result, they each own approximately 0.8% of Ador (1% of 80%).

The five girls have signed a contract that binds them until 2029, if I'm not mistaken. So they can't just leave. If they break the contracts, they will have to pay the penalty, which is very high. I imagine that the hiring of a lawyer specialized in the sector is programmatic for a possible lawsuit that the girls intend to file against Ador for breach of contract. In this case they can: 1. lose their case; Ador/Hybe will terminate the contracts and the girls will have to pay huge sums; 2. win the case; in this case the girls will be free from the contracts and Hybe will have to pay them huge sums.

Yes their case is weaker because the plan had not been carried through but if there is sufficient evidence to indicate that she has been actively sourcing investors then Hybe’s case would be stronger. The balance of evidence is something that must have been weighed before taking legal action so they must think that 5hey stand a chance of winning.

That's possible but it's also possible that Hybe has bigger evidence of actions taken and they are not revealing it, saving it for the courts. Like everyone was surprised when Hybe revealed that MHJ met with Naver & Dumanu reps because the reps themselves contacted Hybe to let them know cuz they didn't want to be in legal trouble as they knew it wasn't right. We don't know what MHJ said or even if she emailed them prior or after the meeting etc. We also don't know if Hybe has evidence of a money trail for other steps that were laid out in her plan. Frankly, I hope they have a wealth of damning hard evidence because this woman doesn't deserve to ever work in the kpop industry or around idols ever again. People like this are a cancer that has infected that industry for so long, kids join because they have a dream and people like MHJ take advantage of them using them as pawns in their own greed they chew them us & spit them out. I think you missed the point of this whole thing: MHJ's attempted hostile takeover of Ador. The whole thing about concept copying is a thick fog used by MHJ to divert attention from her crime and to try to get somethig from Hybe in some way. But, as you said, the law doesn't protect you from inspiring others to your work.
