So, you can use it on any exercise you like! As far as pregnancy, it will depend on the person. I can't speak for anyone else's pregnancy of physical conditioning without an assessment, but for me personally, I used it all the way through until the day I delivered.

For hard exhales, I usually recommend no more than 5-6 breaths to decrease dizziness, usually with 1-3 sets.

it means that you can feel your abs with your fingers and they are staying soft and squishy when you are working on activating them.
