Is it OK to eat eggs? A new analysis based on three large studies involving nearly 178,000 people found that eating one egg a day did not increase risk for cardiovascular disease or death, even among those with a history of heart disease or diabetes.
The researchers from McMaster University in Canada also reported no significant association between egg consumption and cholesterol levels. For decades, fear of cholesterol problems led many people to cut back on eggs since they are a source of dietary cholesterol. Nutrition experts say the average large egg yolk contains nearly 200 milligrams of cholesterol - about two-thirds of what was considered the daily maximum for dietary cholesterol consumption until 2015, when federal nutritional guidelines stopped recommending a dietary cholesterol limit.
Most cholesterol in the body is produced in the liver. Health experts now say that eating foods high in saturated fat can cause the liver to produce too much cholesterol. Despite their cholesterol component, eggs are low in saturated fats and are generally considered nutritious. An egg - which has about 78 calories - is considered a good source of protein (needed to make and repair cells, make enzymes and hormones, and promote growth and development), vitamin D (which benefits bones and the immune system) and choline (which helps the brain and nervous system).
The cholesterol-rich yolk also contains substances that help the eyes: lutein and zeaxanthin, which stave off cataracts and macular degeneration.
The American Heart Association now recommends one egg a day (or two egg whites) as part of a healthy diet.

@@noobplays4376 fr man I've personally eaten 18 whole eggs a day yeah call me crazy but i read this 40egg bodybuilding diet supposed to give you dianabol like results. Honestly i was crazy strong at that point the only issue was constipation due to lack of of water and fibre. Otherwise i felt like i could bash somebody's face into floor whenever i felt like it too much aggression atp

Three eggs a day for the past 25 to 30 years and my HDL is only 41 ( should be above 60 ). My triglycerides are low too and the reason I think is, I avoid oily foods as it irritates my throat the moment I gulp down the food. Thank you doctor for sharing this.

I eat 2 half boil egg and 2 toasted bread 4 times a week. I don’t have cholesterol, blood pressure or diabetes even though I’m 80kg. This meal will last for me from morning to 4pm. Then straight to early dinner. Hot cocoa at night.

Sirrr im 17 year old vegetarian i ate lots of junk but with ur help i quite all of them from last 4-5 months my monther used to cook in refined i also stopped that and i walk 10-12k everyday my immunity is very low tho i get tired very easily if i do workout im 54 kg give some tips sir
