I have often talked about how much I love the G70, but the other car I dream about owning is the RC F. I would absolutely use it as a Grand Tourer, and it would have me smiling every time I drove it.

I know I'm 2 years too late but, I Love my USB RCF. Luxury Import. The sound of the engine when I press a little hard on the gas just to hear the V8 is music to my ears. Great review on the F. Thanks!

I got to drive the RCF one time on track. I love the look, the power, and the sound. But the handling is not very good because it is too heavy. People say it's a bad sports car, but it's not a sports car. It is a sporty GT car and it's great for that.

Amazing color, sounds incredible

RCF was designed to do everything well. Not a dedicated track car, but it was recorded to pull 0.98g on the skidpad and Lexus spent a lot of time developing RCF on the race track (Nurburgring and Fuji). It has all of the numbers to back it up. I take mine to the track and around the track it has done 1.41g instantaneous. Though, I realize at end, you could see a glimpse of its cornering capabilities. Being a jekyll/hyde persionality car, it has two personalities where it is relaxed and comfortable, but in sports+/manual mode at high rpms, everything stiffens and sharpens up for the race track.

A Track-capable GT car. Other GT cars will overheat and brake fade after a few laps at full pace, but this one won't. Perfect dual duty car.

I almost bought one but decided LC 500 instead . I wanted rear steer, dampener and carbon bits but still a beautiful car .

I own a 2002 Lexus ES300 with 168k miles. Amazing build quality and fit and finish is unparalleled. 02-06 ES has the highest quality of all the ES gen’s I love the RC F and It could be my Retirement gift in 2026 when I retire. It started with Corvette C5 and C6, then mustang GT 5.0, then Toyota supra 3.0 premium now the RC F An excellently maintained 2015-2017 with low mileage hopefully one owner will be my choice. I think your video really solidified my choice over the Toyota 3.0 premium. That’s more of a track ready car and honestly I just need a GT cruiser not tracking it. New subscriber here from NY.

Fantastic review, looks like you enjoyed it a lot. Many trash the car saying about the weight and the lack of BMW M3/4 like performance but they don't care or mention about ride and reliability factor. 2UR-GSE is a fantastic V8 engine, my IS 500 in Sport S+ always puts smile, however my gripe with IS is lack of chassis rigidity, the shakes can be felt as if entire front end is getting shocked from the weight and force of the engine going over bumps at high speeds even though they used GS F front end suspension. Lexus also hamfisted bumper by clips which causes sagging, unlike the RC F here which has bolted on bumper design. RC F is sadly downgraded a lot in 2023+, they stopped offering Torque Vectoring Diff which allows more like GSF experience in handling rather than understeer on track, no memory seats, no strut bracing too. But gave it touch screen. This car will hold value in the coming years.

You can take this car to the track any day and it will not disappoint. It's definitely a sports car as far as 99% of the population is concerned.

my friend has a cheap Seat Leon Cupra ST ( 1550 KG weight ) with only 300 PS the make 0 - 60 in 4.8 Sec. and go easy to the Limiter from 272 Kmh, the Lexus RCF is very Expensive and to Slow for over 470 HP.

It’s definitely a GT car, it’s too heavy to be a sports car. RC-F is undeniably one of the most reliable well performing GT’s you can buy.

Love the engine sound! Design and performance are amazing! The track pad and infotainment are crap. I hate it! I have GS 350 and it's a pain in the butt. It would be great, if it's a native Android like Audi!

The infotainment system in Lexus and Acura's are terrible. They need to listen to customers, and switch to touch screens.

a half Price Kia Stinger with 365 HP and +100 KG more weight makes the same Performance and you have more Space inside ? and the Stinger looks great.

Lexus ? great Premium Cars with a Top quality and a wonderfull old School NA V8 Engine but the Cars are to heavy and not have enough Power or Powerfull Turbo Engines, OK the LS has a 3.5 V6 Turbo with 420 HP but the Car has a weight from 2200 KG. The German, English, Italian or American Premium Cars has more Powerfull Turbo Engines.

This car either needs to be lighter, have more power, or cost less to e competitive with the competition for the same price. As is, it's a GT car especially with that lazy transmission. The exterior color is simply gorgeous along with the best sounding engine. So conflicted with this car. World's worst user interface. Genesis needs to make there too of the line vehicles sound this good 👍

All good but license plate ruins it although the plate is thin and wider than the U.S. Rear designed looks much better than the front. 0-60 5.1second is an embarrassment. I guess it's just a luxury sports car not for the track but designed for women age between 30~60. Men will not buy this car.
