26:43 The key item glossed over in this argument is safety. Yes, many people stance their cars differently (high camber, low riding, big lift, etc.) but in each of these instances, the car still provides you the ability to see out of your front windshield as designed. The Carolina Squat makes your front windshield useless and hinders your ability to see. It’s genuinely unsafe because roads are not designed for vehicles that cannot see directly in front of them. It’s like taking your brakes and replacing the pads with metal blocks because you want to make more noise, but now you have the inherent safety risk of your brakes not working the way they’re supposed to.

Nascar fans are complaining cars need more power on short tracks, but manufacturers don’t want that because that would mean worse reliability. Hybrid would solve both issues

One question: is nascar boring? Most people say that nascar is unoriginal or something because they drive in the oval track instead of a circuit like WEC and Formula 1. I think that nascar is cool but idk how to feel about oval track racing

I personally think the hybrid Corvette should've been dubbed the H8 because it sounds awesome. Then make a racing spec one called the H8-R Stingray

I don’t think people realize the biggest issue with what they’re saying about nascar engines. Keeping the engines the same and having to tweak the motors to edge out other cars is the reason people like nascar. It’s competitive. If we want to watch the same guys win every week and play follow the leader around a track I’ll go watch F1.

NASCAR fans lost their s*** when the sport went to a center lug configuration. A few minutes on a post gets old with the "back in the day" comments. Other motorsports have endured angry fans when technology changed, but for the most part NASCAR tends to grasp on to nostalgia in a big degree.

I personally hate the Carolina squat, however I also hate mandated government legislation to this degree. Why not mandate something like people who have these trucks need to have a front facing camera and screen so they can see what's in front of them. That sounds like a reasonable solution, right
