I hope they take their time with it. Kevin is the underdog of the series. The thing that ruined the momentum and quality of the old movies was the rushed development. I hope Hoffman comes back and I hope Saw 11 will be the movie that gives Kevin Greutert his flowers as a director.

Update from sawspace (most reliable saw news - he knows people who work on the movies etc) - Saw XI filming is delayed but as it stands movie is still coming out September, but could be subject to a delay. But as it stands only filming is delayed, not the movie

FINALLY some positive saw fans! I was supposed to meet Costas in Scotland last month but he cancelled due to filming. I only trust official sources, official accounts no matter how accurate gossip rags have been in the past. We are getting saw 11 regardless. I’m excited!

I thought people were just making a bad April fools joke. I hope it’s not delayed but of course wouldn’t mind waiting. We are saw fans, we have a LOT of patience.

This video has calmed my nerves about Saw XI (a bit) 😂 I’ve been worrying about the lack of information and all these negative rumours floating around! So it’s great to hear some positivity 😂 I’m going to try and stay positive till I hear confirmation as well. Also I’m meant to be meeting Costas next month! So I was a tad concerned it would start filming around then and then he couldn’t come to the UK 😂 When I do meet him and if I don’t faint I will definitely try and get some Saw XI secrets out of him haha. You both make great points! I’m hoping it’s been filmed in secrecy and there is something major about this film that they are keeping hush hush!

It's interesting you say this because just last week I was looking through the film release calendar, and SAW wasn't on there. It's still listed as a September release but not on the main calendars I looked at...interesting.

Costas Mandylor is such a great representation of his character Hoffman XD ... Hoffman usually does things in moments of impulsiveness without carefully analyzing the consequences or without verifying that there really are no loose ends in his actions. Costas is the same as Hoffman, he does things without realizing that he is disclosing data that should not be known. And like you, I am one of the people who prefers not to believe rumors until I see data from an official media outlet. The rumors generated some uncertainty in me at a certain point, but as a huge fan of the series, I know that the team is capable of a lot in this process of creating a great movie in just 1 year and I know that not knowing anything is also a good sign since Which means that possibly they are treating everything very delicately in terms of not revealing anything.

Hello Adam & Zoe/Zoey apparently there’s bad news about Saw XI it has been delayed now it’s coming out next September 25th, 2025 but even The Crow is no longer coming out in July 7th, 2024 but due to the 4th Bad Boys: Ride or Die is coming out that Day so the Industry didn’t want any competition also now The Crow is coming out in August 2024! 😢

This seems like one of the original Saw marketing gimicks, where they purposely started this rumor just to get people talking. They would lose a lot of money if it were 'delayed.' They might change the official date but that's the worst case scenario. If there have been issues with Greutert, Koules, Burg it's probably money at this point. Koules, and Burg have a history with money disputes. But in defense of Koules, Burg, and Hoffman with Bousman originally, they were dealing with a guy that had conned everyone in thinking he had a script that everyone wanted and had very little directing experience. So I can see them having 'creative' issues with him. But Bousman did prove he could produce even though they already knew Saw 2 was going to be successful financially, it would just come down to how well it was perceived. But they did end up bringing back Whannel and Wan for writing Saw 3, then turned to Dunstan and Melton for writing.

Lets look at the dates of the trailer releases for the franchise when they were releasing a movie every year, maybe that will draw a line to figure out if it could be delayed or not

Nooooo saw 11 comes out close to my 15th anniversary. Went to the midnight showing of 6 as one of our earliest dates. Hope if they do delay, it only gets delayed into october.

Personally I’m ok with a big delay till 2025 because then that means they aren’t rushing things. I don’t want that because that doesn’t give Kevin time to create his Magic. But if they are just trying to trick us that gives me faith.

This is awful news......it's all over the internet now that Saw XI has been delayed til next sept bc Lionsgate is trying to shoot another movie at the same time as Saw XI. This is a mistake by Lionsgate to try and do this instead of focusing all of their attention on Saw XI

Some fans are so impatient,but i'm with u both that i still think they'll pull this off and the release date for Saw XI will still stick.I'm hoping we'll get a teaser in july,if not a full trailer and i for one would love to see Hoffman kill Cecelia or at least have a vicious fight with her. Any way you slice it,then i want her to die a brutal, painful death ! I wonder what's the chances of Dr Gordan coming back for this one ? It would make sense in the timeline.The thing is Cary Elwes was very unhappy with something in his contract and felt like he should've been paid more,but i feel like if Lionsgate just kicked him a little more money to come back,then he would. Also i think they need him to definitely come back for the sequel to Saw VII,so he can possibly fight Hoffman. I think that'll be an incredible battle.I'm actually happy to hear the Marcus Dustan & Patrick Melton are back to work on Saw XI because i've also been a fan of their other horror franchise... The Collector and The Collection.They have been trying to get support from Lionsgate,so they can make the 3rd movie in the series The Collected,but for the longest time Lionsgate has ignored them and has refused to financially back the horror sequel. I think their franchise and killer are incredible,so if you haven't seen both films,then i think that you both would love them.Anyways thank you once again for the Saw news and keep up the great work with the fresh content.
