As Tadej said post race, if he doesn’t give his all whilst his team mates are going all in for him to win, he’s doing them a disservice. His job on the team is to win stages and races.

Sepp is not a one week stage racer - just look back at his results. Tadej is paid to win (a lot!) and I think they were also testing the team prior to the Giro and Tour.

Racing is a business. UAE wants their jerseys on the podium. Of course... everybody is greedy. Sepp should cross-over like Pidcock and do XC mountain biking too. I think he would really challenge the field in individual races with a lot of climbing.

I heard Tadej is targeting an FTP of 7watts per kg (20 minutes). 7.5 for 10 minutes and 6.5 watts per kg for 30 minutes at the TDF

Lot of talk about the amazing Tadej but others are doing long dominating solo victories as well such as Jonas and Mathieu and remember Remco was the original long solo guy. All of them can DOMINATE when they are without one another. Tell us, who was the second strongest rider in that race?
