she is absolutely insane. unpopular opinion: with training she got the clear skills to slay that glinda voice and role but im pretty sure that with a elephaba training and with the mindest of course she could’ve slayed her too. it’s just that in these kind of performances she prefer to give it a pop style with all the riffs and all (which i find very very very cool because it sounds really good) but she’ll impress a lot of people when she’ll go full theatre style. great reaction!! more of ariana please!! i suggest you to watch some of her best high notes during the dangerous woman tour because she clearly had a dark tone to her voice during that era, and it’s a lot different to the light tone people use to hear from her

She first sang this song when she did carpool karaoke with James Corden, and my reaction after hearing both performances was a) Seth is a better singer than James and b) she sounds GREAT on this song every time! The fact that she wanted to sing this two times on TV made me wonder if she'd recorded this or done a performance of Little Shop or something, so I googled it and found videos of her publicly performing this duet with her brother when she was younger. So yeah, this seems to be a classic go-to song for her, which is why she sounds so relaxed and powerful.

the man who is singing he shouldn't came tense in his throat he need to came down his jaw and open up his mouth more as if you do tense its very bad for the throat because i know alot about muisc and alot about vocal voice of what people do wrong i dont how i know it's just weird
