@charli deverala initially he was going to audition for Tony, before he learned Kurt was. So presumably he had already worked on his audition song and didn't have time to prepare something new.

Lea and Idina always work so well together. You should check out their glee version of Next To Me and I Dreamed a Dream. They also did a workshop of Nero together.

Something I never noticed. Almost everyone sings the Who knows wrong. There should be a half change in knows because there's actually a tritone in there, I think. It also connects it to Maria where Who knows is inverted and the tritone is resolved. The 2021 film gets it right.

Small observation. You comment how they open up the word "will", but it's not will it's "we'll". So that would be easier to open because of the E in it, right?

I think she knew it was "we'll"? It sounded like that's what she was saying? "We'll" and "will" are pronounced pretty identically for many people.
