Same, I was deployed pretty much the entire year of the Witch Queen, and when I got back around we were already prepping for Lightfall, so I missed out on a LOT of stuff from Vow and that nightmare dungeon

It's kinda crazy how far we've come. Rampage went from the end all be all pve final column damage perk to now only being useful if it's in column 3 and being combined with another, better, damage perk.

How far we've come? They just nerfed rampage into the ground and made it so we would never use it again, it literally used to be over 2 times more damage. If you got old rampage today it would still be a top tier perk.

“Solo player” myself, all raids done multiple times, most raids most weapons all patterns unlocked and crafted. LFG has been an existing tool for a long time, never understood the “I’m solo” excuse man. Unless you’re from the perspective of you don’t have the time to set aside to raid then I suppose that’s completely different and I’d understand that as obviously it can be a time commitment as you have to both learn and complete the content. Edit: Jesus all the non raiders are hurt lol, joke aside, all completely misinterpreting my “tone” in this comment lmao. Literally 0 hostility unlike the ones accusing me of it in the replies with actual hostility LOL.

Including perhaps that they just don't like it ?. Alot of raid groups are chill but there's enough that def won't let you be carried or hang around if you are just bad at the game or terrible at learning mechanics l.

@@localprime8868 I'm a solo player too and tbh the main reason I don't raid that much is because the average lfg player is just good enough to clear. There have been more times than I can count where at least half the fireteam straight up has no idea how any of the raid's mechanics work and expect to either clear with no knowledge or have one of the people who actually bothered to do their research explain it to them.

As the developers have said the succession and forbearance was not meant for veteran players it is for new players and the casual players. The reality is that a lot of players in this game don’t do the endgame content such as raids for a variety of reasons. They put these weapons in so that those players have a chance to get some raid weapons without doing raids

Just because streamers have decided “RaMpAgE iSn’T gOoD aNyMoRe” and people are sheep and just go with it, doesn’t make it true. If you lack the skill do get kills and keep it going in all the ad dense activities in the game, that’s a you problem.

Reloading Hammer is not worth it. Enhanced Substance + Enhanced Killing Tally Commemoration is all you need. You'll never need to reload in Onslaught

Rampage was nerfed multiple times so it's hard to say it's the meta that got it. Sure, it has been powercrept on weapons that can't get continuous kills in high difficulty to begin with (maybe give it a higher uptime or just revert its old nerfs), but a constant 33% damage increase as long as you kill something every 4 seconds or so isn't bad. You just don't get that kind of damage anywhere. Sure, it's only 4 seconds, but it's refreshable unlike One for All, more damage than Desperate Measures, and significantly fewer hoops than both Golden Tricorn and Desperate Measures

Rampage is good to have on a comfy ad clear weapon, same with Adrenaline Junkie and Swashbuckler. Sure it doesn’t have any subclass synergies, but I’m always happy to see Rampage on an Auto or an SMG.

probably because other perks like ofa and frenzy are easier to proc in content that matters. sure you can get 33% after killing 3 things, or you can get 35% after HITTING 3 things, and in a gm, that distinction can and does matter

The grenade roll for this is very interesting. Demo and Wellspring, along with the new origin trait gives it a noticeably different vibe than the Raid version. I really don’t see the OG combo of AA/Chain reaction being as nice without the Raid origin trait though. It’ll still be good, but the health regen was a big part of what made it great.

As a player who plays Destiny very inconsistent, I am far from unlocking the patterns for both the Forebearance and Succession. I have a Forebearance (Ambisious Assassin/Turn Around) and a Succession (I dont even know what roll, but not good). Grinding out the Brave weapons is far more easier for me than chasing those redborders. Today got my Brave Succession with Reconstruction and Recombination. Now looking for that sweet Forebearance. Honestly love the Brave weapons!

I've never been able to get one from Vow because that stupid raid has weird flashes during wipe mechanics, weird lighting etc that causes me to have seizures 😑 Now I can get these beast with Demolitionist x Chain Reaction & I'll be extremely happy! I run Renewal Revenant on my Hunter A LOT currently. Demolitionist x Chain Reaction on Salvagers Salvo has been awesome so now I've got Forbearance I can fire a wave, throw Snowglobe, fire wave at slowed enemies. Use the Shurikens with Impact Induction to get Grenade Energy + Demo + High Discipline = LOTS of Grenades!

I actually got a shiny with demo chain reaction frenzy and something else I can't remember right before I got off today. I almost deleted it but I was like nah I will decide whether or not to keep it later. Glad I did. I'm currently running an arc build that focuses on punches and grenades.

@@mattgreeves1721 I know there's some typos in there but I'm still in bed LOL I have several other weapons with the demo wellspring and it's fine that you're getting 5 and 10 back but you can also be using a weapon that's has an effect to sync with your subclass or so. The chain reaction Nerf is horribly stupid and classic Bungie and unless they're going to put it on auto rifles it's just a waste of everybody's time. Has anything with destiny, enjoy it for now because it could be trash in 2 months.

Yes finally! Demo + Wellspring is a slept on roll and it's going to be extremely good on a GL especially a wave frame. When enhanced and in combination with the origin trait. 4 Kills will net you 100% grenade energy (if grenade was your only 'empty' ability at the time). Demo 11% + Wellspring 9% + Indomitability 5%. 4 Kills is easy with a wave frame in anything outside of GM level content pretty much. Not to mention Demo then reloads the weapon for you

I got a shiny forbearance with demo and chain reaction and the other two perks are steady hands and bait and switch, and i gotta say with double lightning grenades it's pretty good with both chain reaction and bait and switch. I tested it with both a minor spec and a major spec and it did pretty good damage. So sad to see chain reaction get nerfed tho

As someone who doesn't raid, I'm pretty happy to see Forebearance in the Brave arsenal. My only complaint which I think would've made it more desirable to people who already had it is that they didn't give it voltshot. Obviously OG Forebearance couldn't have voltshot due to releasing with Witch Queen and void 3.0, before arc 3.0 where jolt & voltshot were introduced. Voltshot's nice on special GLs since they only have 1 in the mag and reload every shot anyway, and wave frame's aoe + jolt would be cool. As such, voltshot would've been something new and desirable the Brave version could bring that might have changed up the godrolls.

Yea cuz well spring gives 12 ince enhanced, demo gives 11 once enhanced and the origin perk prolly get boosted in the final shape so between 28-34% percent per kill is nice and 17-22% percent for everything else.

Steady hands and desperate measures with another brave weapon in different slot. That swap time may save you 3 seconds on the desperate measures to keep it going

I will away go with perk that activate on hit like Vow forbearance Souldrinker perk. You get the result on hits. The brave Forbearance demolitionist/chain/indomitablity you have to get kills instead of souldrinker hits. Demolitionist/indomitabilty Makes you work harder and unless you have healing greande will not be a to save you from dying the way that souldrinker reload will. But the vow forbearance is not as explosive and lethal as the grenade brave forbearance is. More survibilty vs more firepower

Just want to say I'm sure desperate measures doesnt need a gun kill first like GT, you can get a charged / uncharged melee or grenade kill and it'll go to x2 stacks. This works in the backpack as well

Apparently Desperate Measures actually doesn't need a weapon kill to activate like golden tricorn, its on any kill while holding any weapon, so long as that kill isn't a finisher, to my knowledge.

Misinformation about Desperate Measures (could be bad wording but anyway): You don't need to get a weapon kill first. Any ability kill, grenade or melee, will get you DM x2 whether you got x1 or not beforehand. If that ability kill gets you at least 2 kills, it instantly go to x3. By the way on the melee part, it's charged OR uncharged. The perk gets refreshed with any kill, weapon or ability, regardless of the number of stacks. So basically, it's like Master of Arms, Golden Tricorn, Adrenaline Junkie and Swashbuckler had a baby.

Hammer Head with Killing Tally + FttC with stasis hunter melee with the reload fragment doesn't remove damage stacks... just saying its kinda hits hard

You can jump straight to Desperate Measures x2 with an ability kill. You don't need an initial weapon kill

Returning players like me need up-to-date weapons that we can use . A lot of us don't want to play catch-up with old content.glad they make new weapons for us to be a part of the movement

The player numbers dropped big time and now Sony owns Bungie. I'm sure they advised them that if they can't keep the numbers up and bring in revenue, what purpose do they serve. The grind in Destiny has always been an issue with players. Many folks only have a few hours a week to play and can't grind endless hours in hopes for good gear to drop to keep them going. Then ad the frustration of grinding away for hours and not getting any rewards for it. People find other games or other things to do with their free time.

cross you cant just recharge your prismatic nade with perks, based on the devlog and trailers it only comes back when your darkness/light special meter gets full under your super bar

I actually used Forbearance with chain reaction and undercurrent with voltshot and feel that both have value but I like undercurrent with voltshot a little better

@@oxsila but with chainreaction getting nerfed in final shape. voltshot is so good for add clear. Not saying it doesn’t have a place but I cleared shuro chi faster with undercurrent than forbearance by a small margin

I got a heavy Hullabaloo GL with both Volatile Launch, High-Velocity Rounds, Voltshot, Chain Reaction and Classy Contender. It's absolutely insane!!! Wish for a GL Forbearance with those perks. That would be too good but AA and Chain is perfect for GL Forbearance as well in my opinion.

I'm glad they put forbearance out there for the F2P players. Souldrinker is still the best origin trait in d2 by a fair margin tho, won't see me running the Freebearance. The raid one is harder to get, but you won't go back once you do.

If you can’t raid for whatever reason to either get a crafted or adept then sure but you lose out on the souldrinker origin trait which imo is what takes the weapon from A tier to S. Brave OT isn’t bad by any means but that extra healing is undeniably better

Having chain reaction on other weapon types sounds cool, but imo it should really just stay as a gl and rocket perk. I don’t really see the reason to put it on any others except maybe rocket sidearms

Prismatic combo grenades come from charging the meter with light and dark. Demo wellspring has no effect on charging that.

no one mentions that desperate measures also procs off uncharged melee kills unlike golden tricorn which makes it way way better imo because you always have the ability to melee and you can reproc the perk over and over

i want one but I've got a god roll adept undercurrent with demo+voltshot, so the chain reaction nerf doesn't really hurt me. Undercurrent still works fine
