I wouldnt call any of these reliable just yet. Give it atleast 5-10 years. Hyundais were cheaply built in the 2000s. It looks good new like all cars but itll take time for Genesis to establish itself.

FYI, nothing fresh here - Genesis are copying the split headlight look from Volvo, who's had it as a key design element on their cars since 2015. The unfortunate looking grille looks like the older silly Mazda smile, but on steroids to its detriment. The prior generation G70 was better looking. Having a giant cartoonish grille just to be unique perhaps to also mimic the design of the company badge is a bit misguided. Good cars, design team still in their apprenticeship program.

@@petejr7583 Got remember Genesis hire former Audi/Bentley designer, BMW M department, Infiniti designer so got little influences in their designs. It the reason KIA/Hyundai cars improve after 2011 model year

I agree. Mid 4 sec 0-60 mph times and high 12 sec 1/4 mile times! I mean more power would be awesome but as is, definitely great performance numbers! I know I’m enjoying mine-2023 g70 3.3t RWD with sport prestige and advance packages! 🔥👍🏼

It’s just a refresh, the full redesign will get the new 3D gauge cluster. Some 2021 model do actually get the digital cluster but not sure why genesis didn’t add it to this new refresh…

@@Dkdid9183 Just got this same car/same trim. The guage being half digital doesnt look half assed, and it's the last thing I'm going to think about as I pass a Sonata in traffic with the new Sport Mode+... Not to mention, Genesis models look nicer in my opinion, have more safety features, level 2 autonomous driving, not just front collision control but junction turning as well. Top it off with 15 Lexicon speakers and ventilated seats. Also, the new 10.5 inch screen uses the same software as the g80/g90. Okay, promise I'm done with my rant. Trust me, I'm coming from a 2020 2.0T G70 Elite, and would have enjoyed a complete interior refresh, but when you break it down, its functional and works for now. With AWD, it's 4.5 seconds 0-60, and if you want a BMW, Mercedes, Audi... Get ready to pay roughly 15-30 grand more for the same options and similar power. Genesis also will valet your car to service. I schedule the appointment, they bring me a loaner and take my car into service, plus offer free oil changes every 7500 miles. It's a no brainer walking out with zero down for 12k miles @ 605/month. That's just my fan boy opinion, because cars are getting way to expensive as it is. I'd prefer to drive a BMW, but it's simply not worth it for the same performance (for me). Best of luck. P.s. I do think Hyundai make solid cars and wasn't hating on them! I'd drive the palisade myself hehe.

They are already taking sales away due to bang for the buck. It will take time to convince the masses. There are a lot of badge snobs for the luxury brands out there.

I agree with you 💯 but I still think car manufacturers should improve their HP genesis could of easily put 400hp or 430hp on this car. That extra HP helps to making passes on the highway if you know what I mean. It's a great looking car but lacks on HP a little. When you add weight it's only fair you add Hp.

@@thepitmanbull1877 I think that Genesis is focused more on reliability than pure performance at this time. 400+ hp will be a simple tune for the 3.5TT.
