They start calling you champion after you beat Mustard because they finally got to watch the TV

I was so confused when I had level 100 pokemon and everyone had like level 60s. I'm disappointed cause I was excited to battle trainers who have level 100 pokemon

The way I've been seeing this dlc is the isle of armor being $10 and the crown tundra being $20. It just sounds like the crown tundra has so much more to offer.

Actually an Npc says that mustard doesnt let anyone watch the tv because he is always on it (playing pokemon quest) so that is their excuse for not knowing you are the champion.

It's good and nice that they're replacing extended versions of Pokemon with DLC but they need to add a little more content and a few more interesting battles, I feel like if they just up the difficulty a little it would be more fun!

Me:Bought the DLC, was waiting MONTHS for it to release. Also me: Beat the isle of armor the day it came out and is now bored again. I have mixed feelings. It all seems so rushed. They didnt ugrade any animations or mechanics and jt was quite easy to breeze through. Some Of it was fun but i wish they put more effort in.

I enjoyed the dlc a lot more than the main game itself. The wild area looks lame now.

Honest review: It wasn’t that good or long but I’m happy they brought shinx and rockruff back. We need a better way to get special pokeballs because that cramomatic doesn’t work that well.

They had such a golden opportunity to make this some fantastic hardcore endgame content, but nah, they had to make it "accessible" to everyone, even those who haven't finished the main story. Such lost potential. I hope Crown tundra will be this.

I feel like this dlc was more like a test for the new director. It had abit of a different vibe compared to the original game. It felt way better!! Ik they can't do much with the quality anymore though but it seemed better! (I commented before watching the video) but yeah never let masuda plan for pokemon again

The level scaling disappointed me because I wanted to use a fresh team. Went in with a level 60 Grookey because of it. Though I found everything else brilliant.

One think I also like about the game is the little presents you get. Finding the Digletts to get Alola Pokemon, getting another charm after completing the Dex again. But also the fashion items. The crown, the outfit from the guy in the station when you pay his ticket and the shirt from the lady that helps you to evolve your Slowpoke, if you speak to her again when you have the Slowbro following you...

I would love to buy this DLC but I'm saving up my money for a leopard gecko. It's so tempting to buy it but my grandma has never even considered letting me get any kind of reptile and I'm really excited to get one, and if I wait any longer she might change her mind TwT

I like how you talked about both the positives and negatives of the DLC. Lately the fanbase has only focused on the negatives, wich is not good because it doesn't send the full message to Gamefreak. If you want the next Pokémon game to be better, you need to voice both what you did and didn't like, so the developers will be able to keep the good things and fix the bad ones.

I feel like the Isle of Armor was made primarily with competitive battling in mind (which makes sense as the theme of it is "Growth"). As a VGC player, I was very pleased with the added features that made it even easier to obtain a Battle-Ready team. The story was nice but I can sympathize with those who thought it was too short. As the Crown Tundra's theme is "Exploration," I'm confident that it will have more content than the IoA for non-competitive players

Don’t forget about your partner following you, it will also show the shiny form if shiny which is also cool (i’m also sure everyone already knew this lol)

I enjoyed playing Pokemon Pokemon Sword/Shield DLC. But I also enjoy Trading Pokemon in Suprise Trade because I can get any Pokemon so long as they'll contain in Rare Pokeball like Level, Heavy, Love, Moon, Lure, Friend, Dream and Safari Balls because they're my favourites💖. When I first tried the Cram-o-matic they only made some regular Pokeballs in the game and not a single rare Poké Balls were created. I was very disappointed😔 and I don't know why Game Freak would include the regular Pokeballs on to Cram-o-matic rather for rare Pokeballs only. True that the Cram-o-matic make other stuff like Dragon Scale, King's Rock and other evolution items which is great but the frustrated thing is that making the rare Poké Balls is 25% chance and a Safari ball is 1% which I think it's unfair. To be honest I also do missed the GTS (Global Trade System) because they're a lot easier to trade than the link trade with someone who are only interest in shiny Pokemon, plus using GTS be able to show Pokemon that you want trade with and show their Pokeball so you can be able to have the rare Pokeball like Lure, Level, Love, Moon, Heavy, Safari, Friendship and Dream balls.But unfortunely It's now on this new Pokemoon game programme Pokemon Home and I don't own it as it cost alot to keep and to be honest I wouldn't know how to used it to transfer on Nintendo Switch.

I totally agree with the pokemon following you. They don't keep up with you and it feels strange. Since they've always been right there. But i love the views. It is so pretty and each environment is so different looking even different colored flowers and grass in areas. And the desert area is awesome cos you can see it was once a volcano by walking to the large hill and looking around. The map doesn't really do that area justice as it appears in real time, but it seems like they really put thought into why areas looked the way they did, which I appreciated. It seemed more polished than the galar mainland. Also from the videos they released about the dlcs as a whole makes me think that tundra is going to have all the really good stuff and this is meant to tied us over till then, but you can definitely see they're putting the work into really immersing you into the pokemon world.

Explanation: The whole TV-thing might not sound so convincing since there are phones and people travel etc., but the DLC is actually supposed to be playable early on. I completed the whole DLC with 4 badges on my 2nd account to get my 2nd Urshifu. After evolving Kubfu into Urshifu, Mustard actually won't let you gather the Max Honey and battle him. You need to become champion first, as he says "it's not time for his/hers next step yet". Short form: By the time you access the Isle, you're not supposed to be champion yet, so people don't know who you are. Of course most of us were champion already and never got the "not ready" textbox.

I agree with everything you said...I’m also enjoying the isle of armor. My favorite part is walking with your Pokémon. A cool thing I saw was that if you are looking to another place away from you partner Pokémon a question mark appears and they look at the exact same direction as the trainer....this only happens while in idle...but it’s cool none the less

Poketips have seen the Pokémon quest Easter egg/reference? So basically if you didn’t know..... If you go to the dojo and go to where master Mustered is you’ll see him playing a video game that looks just like Pokémon quest and if you tap the tv it’ll say “It seems to be a game with square shaped Pokémon” or something like that and if you stand in front of the tv or Mustered for a little while he’ll say something like “Please move ____________(whatever your name is) your blocking the Telly”. I had bought both expansion passes beforehand and I finished Isle of Armor in 2-3 days. I love the expansion but the one thing that disappointed me was how easy it was to beat it. All of my pokémon were AT LEAST over level 70 when I was playing the expansion pass. My Noivern was over level 90 (now level 100) and could KO anything. But it was still so fun to play through and I made my character look really rich and stuff with the style card lol.

Short answer: No They removed pokemon and national dex, told consumers that they have been removed for in-game features that Wasn't there, Only to sell it back for an extra 30 and make consumers believe its a good look because at least it isn't a 2nd edition game.. The fact that Isle of Armor seems like it was Supposed to have been in the game long before you even become champion is clear to see.. Happy spending 30 again later this Yr 😒 I'm so glad Pokemon Moon (Not Ultra) was the last games I purchased.. In hindsight, that game wasn't so bad compared to SWSH

i don’t see the dlc as 15 dollars. i see where you’re coming from on how you’re valuing it, but it’s not like you can pay for half of it then pay the rest, so i would value it as a 30 dollar dlc that you get two sets of content with.
