El Hombre is a fan favourite in Supercross and a multi-time champion and after over 10 years as a pro, it looks like he is just getting started. The last few weeks have been insane in the 450 class so naturally we spoke about some of the chaos, we get into his championship season and how he came to resent that title and much more! Away from the track Hopefully this podcast gives you a look into the mind of a complex and creative human, who just happens to be super good at riding a dirtbike!
In this clip from the full show Jason Anderson opens up about living in a kitchen during his second year of Supercross.
You can also support Jason and his league of legends at Team Fried by hitting the link bellow and buying some of their dope merch.

I've followed Supercross for gosh 9-10 years I think? I'd watch it from time to time but I started to really follow it in 2011-2012 and I've always taken it at face value because I enjoy racing as a whole. But this year I feel like I've followed the sport more than ever. Not completely engrossed or going in depth with the riders, previous seasons, statistics ETC. & It's been really cool to get these insights from the riders and follow the sport a little more closely than I have in the past it feels refreshing.

Kawi is the exact same way that he explained husky to be 😂. All the teams want to call the shots for the most part. And kawi wasnt willing to make the adjustments tomac was asking for. It all comes down to it just felt like a fresh start for him on that kawi. Plain and simple

Well once Bobby left, the whole Rockstar Husqvarna team seemed to go opposite direction. You had Wilson struggling, Jason struggling and even Zacho, Malcom seems to be working with the team but for awhile you can visibly something seemed off especially as Bobby had such a family atmosphere of the team that was very rare for a factory team

According to the Tomac story, Kawasaki is thought of the way Jason is describing Husky. So weird to hear differing opinions. They both say each brand has a limited window of changes or settings that they wanna stay within and their main concern is selling more bikes. Maybe it’s just that way with all the OEMs , and more likely everyone sees things the way THEY wanna see it.

Look at how many people say Hondas are “known” to be super twitchy right?. I have never had an issue and always preferred the ride myself. We all like different styles etc. I just know Jett doesn’t look like the bike is getting away from him really.

@@karlosmoreno3821 Of course I'm not but the point still stands. If it was as pronounced as 'some' people claim no one would continue to buy Honda motocross bikes. I've had my Yamaha get twitchy too. It's inherent in the design of a bike or motorcycle lol.

One of the things i always think about these pro guys is they were all born into it. It's the same with all these crazy sports, like F1 and that. Their parents got them right into it. They weren't just riding along one day and got picked up by a team. There's people out there way more talented than dudes like el hombre, but they'll never even know racing on a top level like this cause theres no real easy way into it. edit: I suppose it makes it good when people with crazy talent come along like Jett
@NCER999
@NCER999 2 жыл бұрын
Yes and no. These guys were born into it and supported to become what they are. However they are talented and at the pinnacle. There isn't people out there better being held back. Anyone can rock up to a local track and race. If they're the best, most talented rider (with decent equipment) they could win and could move all the way up to national races without issue. No-one would stop them. Just because guys grow up racing doesn't mean they're not the best. However they've been supported and had their while life to become that.
