Without maininance to any of the equipment and given that the world isnt turned into a total dust bowl I give that 5 years. It would be poetic if it werent so depressing to know thats our legacy and exsestentially terrifying to think of.

See, I personally feel like the "critics vs fans" thing with movies is kind of missing the point of what critics are reviewing. They aren't there to tell you if it's a movie that is fun to watch, critics are there to tell you if it has an engaging plot line, deep characters, complex themes and all the other stuff you were supposed to learn in English class. Like, they did their job properly and pointed out that as standalone media both the Mario movie and the fnaf movie don't provide a rich fulfilling media consumption experience. If you like them despite that, good for you, but that doesn't mean they don't still fail on the elements of film that critics are there to analyze.
