@@MisterAppleEsq sorry i never noticed your reply. no i was not eaten by a gru surprisingly. the specific copy of zork i have is called zork: the cavern of doom. i never listed all of my deaths but i believe i have died to the wizard and the dragon or have at least checked what would have happened if i had gone down the route that seemed like a dumb choice. i do, however, also have another choose your own adventure book where i have definitely died. that one is called journey to the year 3000.

The thing about Toph and Zuko not knowing how to cook is... By the point Zuko joined the gaang, he spent who knows how long (book 2) without servants and alone with Iroh, who ABSOLUTELY knows how to cook. And while you could argue that Iroh simply did ALL the cooking, I find it far more likely Iroh was like "We're all alone, so you need to learn how to take care of yourself in case something happens to me or we get separated". Also, Zuko did occasionally do things like steal a new tea set for Iroh, so he may have cooked a meal simply to be kind to him. As for Toph... she probably doesn't know much, but she has been with the gaang for a while, and may have at least heard Katara (and probably Sokka) say a few things while cooking. Also the food is probably cooking in a metal dish on a metal stand, resting either on a stone floor or bare ground, meaning she might be able to pick SOMETHING up through seismic sense? PS, I might've teared up a couple times writing this. Also the wiki page for Zuko is absolute garbage, can someone fix it?!

i already knew the nose thing. in fact i can feel it change between the two and, though it takes about 10 minutes of focused breathing, i can change which one i habitually breathe though for the next few hours. without even lifting my hands off my keyboard i can tell you that my current dominant nostril is mt right one, although within 2 hours at most it'll have switched to the left.

My fear of water is closer to a general fear of the feeling of your chest contracting, and the slow build up to where nothing feels relevant anymore and you just kinda accept that this is probably the last thing you will ever experience, and that doesn't really mean anything either. I had a lot of near drowning experiences up until like, two years ago, I think pools may be trying to kill me. Also, I have to watch JoJos Bizzare Adventures now.
