0:26 The kakapo is one of my favorite animals ever. They're just so round and clumsy and awkward and precious. They're the only parrots that can't fly because they're too damn chubby so they just do this little waddle-run. They look like strange, adorable little muppets. As far as I understand it they had no natural predators in new zealand so evolved to not really need a fear response to large animals. Similar thing happened on Rottnest Island off of Western Australia with Quokkas.

Write a poem about what we wanted to contribute to the world and what the meaning of life is with explanation afterwards 2. Illustrate a poem in 2 ways (this one was actually fun) And 3. Write a 2 1/2 page paper about what an hour in our life will be like in 10, 20, or 30 years Everyone's project was dark, depressing, or vaguely normal. Even the kid who jokes around all the time ended the 3rd part with how he needed to talk to more people, and how maybe his self-isolationism was really hurting him.

I read a book once where replacing all of the vowels with A was a secret code used by a certain group of people and people outside of that group literally couldn't understand what was being said and assumed it was a different language even though reading it isn't that hard. I never understood why this was such a clever secret dialect until I heard it read out loud in this video.

Vowels and similars are the core of the language. Consonants are modifiers. When everything has the same core, diserning it gets hard. It's like if everything was the sky's color, or pure black. You can get it, but it's very trippy.

Adding to the "Walmart is vampires" theory: old walmart signs are red, and have a more traditional 5 pointed star on them, which, with the implied the context of vampires, could have some meaning behind it. It's also a good theory as to why they were motivated to change it to something less suspicious looking, assuming the current owners of Wal-Mart are vampires that are extremely self-conscious about not looking like vampires.

The story I wrote is the story of how the world ended told through the fuzzy last thoughts of an ambiguous person dying for half an hour. 13:00 there actually WAS an ASL (American Sign Language) course available through my school. It wasn't on campus, but they held classes every Tuesday and Thursday at the library, and you could get an extracurricular credit if you passed. I wasn't free on Tuesdays or Thursdays, but I gather the course was fun. It came about because the superintendent's daughter was born mute, and when she realized how useful ASL was, the superintendent convinced the librarian to set up a class... It's still going strong. I was told being corrected in your signing form by a tiny little 7-year-old girl was a very odd experience. She's a tough cookie. "Respect your deaf / mute friends... for they have to think before they "speak", and, therefore, are probably smarter than you." - found written on her whiteboard at the library, about a week ago. She's *11*... I'm genuinely afraid of her, should she ever turn evil.

20:57 has already been done by a series!!! They literally had the sloths slip off their heavy coats and they could run hecking fast! I think the series was called “Hero 108” where the animals of the world get “controlled” by this semi-idiot bad guy and a bunch of heroes protect the less fortunate from them (I think it was on Cartoon Network) Edit: had to make some corrections since I finally remembered it’s actually name and looked up where it was aired

I just got done rewatching Hamilton for the fourth time in the past two weeks. I have also been listening to the soundtrack literally *non-stop* for three weeks. This is my life now; I just spent several minutes crying about "It's Quiet Uptown" and I'm depressed now. Time to go watch some Lin Manuel Miranda interviews and cry about how adorable he is instead of how good at writing sad stuff he is.

Fun fact! Waking up well rested is not just about getting enough sleep, it also requires a function sleep schedule, aka you go to bed at 9 PM, wake up at 7 pm and continuously do this forever, though some cheat days are okay along as you still keep a schedule

@@directium Yesterday's episode was actually quite interesting imo. I started writing a book myself but took the smart idea of get rid of every canon character, get rid of salem, get rid of the plot, we're doing something new but in Remnant. It uses the idea of semblances and whatnot, and takes place in Vale but you'd be hard pressed to find a Blake Belladonna, or even someone that rivals her uselessness.
