Short video I know but a minor issue came up with the saw but also nice days have been coming and Ive been spending them with my family. Can you guess the issue with the saw, or at least guess the same suspected issue with the saw as me?

Another cool video,, great to see the vintage 790 run again,,,you keep at it and you will get it straightened out,,,, those old saws can be tricky sometimes to get running to spec,,,,I had an old husqvarna that had nice blue spark and I worked on that saw ,did everything you could imagine and I at the very last end changed the ignition system with a complete used one and it fired right up,,,,,just wouldn't fire under compression,,,but lay the plug out and crank it ,nice blue spark,,,,

I changed out the condenser for a NOS unit (spoiler alert) and still acts advanced. However upper reed and carb adaptor gasketsbarent supposed to be wet feom the outside when you put fuel down the inside of the carb....see where I'm going here.

Noice mate!! I joined the Big Mac club yesterday, got me an SP125c finally! It’s only a single jet carb one tho🤦‍♂️

Single jet is what keeps them chrome bores alive unless you keep the high side on the fat side with a dual jet. Single jet was factory for chrome bores

Yes I realise that lol also have heard a lot of single jets here in Aussie scored up also🤷‍♂️ it does have a 24inch hard nose with a tungsten tip chain but it’s very slow, what other models share the same drive cup?? I’d like to put one on that uses a rim instead of spur plz

250? ,1-53,450? Or full wrap macs coz the 125 is the only one I have atm lol

@brendosghanasenditsaws all of the above. The 250 has a bushing for it's clutch bearing last I recall.
