I've been waiting a long time for this mouse and it is finally here and it is even better than I was expecting. Today, I'll be doing an unboxing, going through the Razer Viper V2 Pro clicks, scroll wheel, side buttons, sound test, coating, weight, weight compared to others, weight differences in colors, comparing it against other top of the line mice, seeing the changes between the Razer Viper Ultimate and the Razer Viper V2 Pro, the dock (or lackthereof), Updated receiver, comparing it to the Logitech G Pro X (GPX), Logitech G Pro Wireless (GPW), Razer Viper Ultimate (RVU), and SteelSeries Aerox 3, Finalmouse Starlight 12, the balance, going over Razer Synapse, Razer MultiPair, the differences between the Logitech Hero, Razer Focus+, and the Razer Focus Pro sensor, Smart Tracking, Asymmetric cut-off, why higher DPI is better, where the V2 Pro sits compared to my Top 3 (Razer Viper Ultimate, Razer Viper V2 Pro, Logitech G Pro X Superlight, Starlight 12 Poseidon), Why the price may just be worth it, and maybe some other stuff I forgot.

@@ThomasMuehler will do. And yeah it's unfortunate. That's why I got so excited to see it. Lol. I'm sure they take a substantial amount more time and effort and sounds like from what I hear YT algo doesn't like that at all. Which is sad cuase I think reviews like this are the best and honestly make the short ones almost sus for me. Like you listen to a review but they didn't cover the one "quirky" thing that is a bigger deal to them than the reviewer. The reviewer to cut down the vid must cut some things out to make the video shorter yet make sense. But what they decided is important to note or not might not be the same for all. Even in a shorter video maybe make a bullet point speed through at the end of the quirks or things that didn't flow in their over all breakdown and general review. Just speedily cover the things that some "might" care about that most won't cover. Idk. I'm no YTer but I think that's what I'd try for my reviews to please both(ish) sides.

@@ruinousronin Its not so much that KZfaq's algorithm doesn't like it (as really the algorithm is a byproduct of people and anything that is getting views and long watch retention it will share). But just that most people aren't willing to sit through an in-depth video on something for 30 minutes as peoples attention span continues to dwindle. Especially, if you don't put a whole lot of stuff in there to make it entertaining (fancy b-roll and changing shots every 3 - 5 seconds which takes forever). So for example this video has a watch retention of 5 minutes. Which means people are viewing about 14% of the video. Most big KZfaqrs shoot for 50% or higher. My 7 - 8 minute videos will net me just as much watch time and are a lot "easier" to make. I'm more like you in I like longer style reviews like this. Which is why I created my channel. But I have been stuck at low views and low subscribers because of that which leads to me not making money which leads to me not being able to do reviews. So, I've had to switch it up. I still try my best to fit a stupid amount of information in 7 - 15 minutes and think I do a good job at that. Quirks included. But I'm still trying to find that perfect balance where both sides are pleased equally. I think I'm getting closer but still have a ways to go. The other way to go about it too is to have specific videos for each of the points I made in this review. Which takes the same amount of time (ish) but is harder to find for viewers and creates a lot of spam in my channel which can lead to bad things as well. So basically, finding the right balance is exceedingly hard which is why most KZfaqrs aren't successful. I still haven't found it but believe I'm getting closer. And hopefully, if I get enough subscribers that like my content I can make whatever I want and people will still watch enough for it to be profitable so I can continue to buy products to do reviews (as that is my goal for it to be a wash). But for now being a baby I need to do what works to grow my channel. It's a whole thing and since I don't know anybody who cares about this stuff I'm kind of by myself trying to figure it all out. Learned a lot but still need to learn A LOT more. But yeah your input is definitely noted and I'll see what I can do to incorporate it.

I can't really answer that. As mice are personal preference so it really comes down to what you are personally looking for. The Superlight is an excellent mouse. If you are trying to find a different shape and/or are interested in the upgrades then it may be worth checking out. But if you love your GPX then I don't see a reason why you'd need to upgrade.

Wanted to ask u how does both feel in hand if v2 feels better or same. Which scroll wheel do u prefer (feels smoother). And if the shape is changed by a lot or just slightly. Thanks for ur time.

I have both. The shape hasn't changed, the only things are the clicks, side buttons, sensor, and side grips. The scroll wheel is the same (for my copies at least).If you don't like the ultimate's side grips, and side buttons are important to you, get the v2 pro. it's also really important to remember the price difference though.
@ThomasMuehler
@ThomasMuehler 2 жыл бұрын
Great questions. As per usual mice come down to personal preference so something I like may not be something you like. For background, personally I prioritize weight highly. So, if a mouse is more lightweight I'm going to rank it higher as I think it makes a significant difference in aim. When I'm playing games my goal is to perform to the best of my ability which also means I highly value specs. So, again if a mouse has better specs then I'm going to rank it higher. I find the Razer Viper V2 Pro to be an easy winner for me. As the Focus Pro sensor is absolutely insane. Not saying the Focus+ is a slouch either. As before this mouse came out it was the best sensor on the market and I noticed a difference between it any other mice. I notice that same difference when comparing the Focus+ to the Focus Pro. The optical switches are a wash. As technically the only difference between Gen 1, Gen 2, and Gen 3 is tighter tolerances. Behind the scenes Razer has constantly been upgrading their switches so I wouldn't be surprised that depending on when the RVU came out it could technically have Gen 3 switches even if it says Gen 2 on the box. I find the side clicks to be superior on the Viper V2 Pro as they stick out further, feel better, and there are no right side buttons. But I didn't mind the side buttons on the RVU. And having the two right side buttons could come in handy if you choose to utilize them or are left handed. Scroll wheel is very similar on both. I'm not sure if there is an actual difference or not as this could be attributed to copy differences. I've tried 3 different RVU and they all feel relatively the same. my V2 Pro feels a bit smoother with a bit more dedicated of steps. It's also a bit quieter (I think). So, again a very marginal win to the V2 Pro which could also be attributed to lottery. But if you take it apart I believe the scroll wheel is smaller on the V2 Pro over the RVU (I haven't looked closely enough to confirm but Bearded Bob did a tear down video that I watched). Battery life is going to be better on the V2 Pro. V2 Pro doesn't come with a dock, a place to hold the dongle, or rubber sides. I miss the dock but I didn't use it much so that isn't a big deal to me. I'm upset about it not holding the dongle (just because I use a bunch of different mice). I prefer the texture and naked sides on the V2 Pro as I think it gives me better grip. But this could be a big negative for people as it could be argued that having no rubber sides means it can be more slippery. But is harder to clean. On/off switch is unique on the Viper V2 Pro. It's almost nice to have something completely different then any other gaming mouse I've tried. But I have concerns about longevity and still haven't formed a true opinion if this is a good or a bad thing over a dedicated switch. So, I'm pleading the fifth. But it does make it easy to turn on with one hand though. Shape is exactly the same. However, by having a different texture (no rubber sides, different pain), and being dramatically less weight (you can easily feel the 19 gram difference (78 - 59 = 19 as white is 1 gram heavier on V2 Pro and 4 grams heaver on RVU) makes a huge difference on how the mouse feels. My other main gaming mouse is the Starlight 12 which is 45 ish grams. So 78 grams to me is "really heavy". At 59 I think that is the "goldilocks" weight for most people by not being too light but being heavy enough. Technically behind the scenes the Viper V2 Pro is going to have better wireless due to an upgraded dongle. You can also multipair it which isn't available on the RVU. PTFE feet I'm undecided. As this isn't something I tend to notice or focus on so am a bad one to ask. I think the cord I got with the V2 Pro is better than the RVU. I also like USB C (V2) over Micro (RVU). But this is such a insignificant thing to choose a mouse over I don't put much weight in it. Cost is also a factor. Personally, I think the $150 is justified. I could go in-depth on that. The RVU is often on sale for about $80. But rarely in the colored variants. The V2 Pro will eventually go on sale as well. Looking at retail price of $130 vs $150 I think the $20 is easily justified for the "improvements". So, obviously the win is going to go to the RVU as you get more bang for your buck when on sale... but the scales here aren't fair. As I think the RVU is almost 3 years old and the V2 Pro just came out. But personally, I'd still pay the increased amount for the V2 Pro as I think the "upgrades" are worth it for my preferences. But wouldn't recommend that for your average casual gamer. I think I covered almost everything. Main point is what exactly are you looking for in a mouse? Do you want a mouse that does everything (rubber side buttons, two extra right side buttons, can charge on a dock, has RGB)? AKA better for most casual gamers. Or are you looking for the mouse that will give you the best performance in games (V2 Pro)? AKA better for your "elite" gamers looking to break high scores and are performance oriented. For me I'm a performance kind of guy as mentioned. So easy win to the V2 Pro. I don't think you can go wrong with either one. As they are both 10/10. I'd love to hear which one you decided on, why, and what you think of it.

@@ThomasMuehler I'm not noticing any wobble. The scroll wheel makes a smooth, rubbery sound when being scrolled up. But when I scroll down, there's an extra plasticky clacking. As someone who has used a mamba elite for years would the viper v2 pro be a good choice? I 100% want to go lighter. I use a hybrid fingertip grip when holding the mouse
@ThomasMuehler
@ThomasMuehler Жыл бұрын
The Mamba and Viper shape are quite different. With the Viper being less ergonomic and large. It has a symmetrical shape along with a complete lack of a hump which will be the two biggest differences. Assuming you enjoy the shape of the Viper V2 Pro I would say YES it is a good choice. As personally I consider the Viper V2 Pro THE BEST mouse on the market. By a good margin. Even over the GPX. Again, assuming you can tolerate the shape. They even came out with a new dongle that makes it 4,000 Hz further increasing the difference. Granted not everyone will be able to feel that difference. But the Viper V2 Pro feels completely different than any other mouse I've ever used and I'm in love. I also think if you use fingertip grip that you'd like the shape. As that is the main grip style they went for. Followed very closely by claw. If you end up getting it, I would love to hear your thoughts on it good and/or bad.

@ThomasMuehler
@ThomasMuehler Жыл бұрын
GPX and V2 Pro are both S-Tier mice. You can't go wrong with either. The V2 Pro Technology wise is superior. As mentioned in the video. Assuming you find both comfortable from a shape, size, and weight standpoint (as those are more important factors over better wireless, sensor, USB C charging, 4,000 Hz polling with hyperpolling dongle (not included), etc) you are more future proof with the V2 Pro and is the one I would personally buy for 40 euro more. As I think it is worth it. But again, plenty of pros, and people use the GPX on a regular basis and perform great with it. At this point neither mouse is going to hold you back performance wise. General consensus tends to show shape on the V2 Pro is hit or miss and I've gotten complaints on the coating. Where the GPX is probably one of the best shaped mice ever and has an excellent coating. Which are the two main reasons why people pick it over others. As at this point the rest of the specs are sold on $60 - 100. So you are paying a premium tax on it being Logitech's best selling mouse.

I think an issue we are having right now is that the Razer Viper Ultimate just happens to be on sale for $80. Which is the lowest that I've really ever seen it. It retails for $130 without the dock or $150 with the dock (which may have now come down to $130 with the dock). So I don't think that particular comparison is fair as the sale will end eventually. Also, we haven't seen the sales for the Viper V2 Pro since it just released. But, I get what you are saying nonetheless. Also, do you actually use the right side buttons?! Serious question. What do you use them for? As I think you're a unicorn. As I haven't seen too many people who actually utilize them with the mass majority of people thinking they just get in they way. Or are the Bee's Knee's for left handers. Which also don't exists. Those people aren't real. (those last two sentences were sarcasm).

@ThomasMuehler
@ThomasMuehler 2 ай бұрын
Yes. The extra dongle is not needed. However, it is included as performance may suffer depending on how far away your computer is. As the stronger the signal the better (prevents drops, skips, other issues). Additionally, sometimes USB can cause interference which can cause issues. Basically, what I'm saying is that the dongle helps separate it from other USBs and strengthens the signal to provide the best experience. So, if you are having issues NOT using the dongle. Then you probably should. If you aren't having problems then stick with the minimalistic look.

What do you think about the Glorious Model O Pro? Does it looks like a good purchase? or should I spend a little more for the Razer Viper V2
@ThomasMuehler
@ThomasMuehler 2 жыл бұрын
Mice are personal preference. So, the only one who can answer that is you. The Viper V2 Pro is easily the better mouse spec wise. As it has a dramatically better sensor, better wireless, optical switches (which I would argue are better but that's really a preference thing), similar shape, (technically 3 - 4 grams heavier which you wouldn't notice), and as long of battery life. But is $50 more. It's also available right now and you have plenty of reviews to go off of. The Model O Pro is impressive as it is 55 grams. But the BAMF sensor is fine. I'm not a fan as I think it has some angle snapping with it (as I can draw straight lines like a boss with it) and just doesn't feel as precise as other top of the line sensors (HERO, 3399, 3370, Owl-Eye, etc). So I'd rank it a mid-grade upper tier sensor. I don't know what primary clicks they are using. I think previous it has been Omron 20 mg. From my experience with previous Glorious mice the clicks tend to be underwhelming. Not bad just not super crisp and I've enjoyed my RVU and V2 Pro primary clicks better than any of my Glorious mice. Shape will be similar on both but I prefer the RVU/V2 Pro. Unless if we are talking about the Model 0 - shape. Then I prefer that. In general QC and feel of Glorious is behind Razer. As it just doesn't feel as premium of a product. But again, this is more a personal opinion. So for me, the choice is easy. I'd go with the V2 Pro. To me the best mice on the market are tied and are G Pro Wireless, G Pro X Superlight, Viper Ultimate, Viper V2 Pro, and Starlight 12. But in my own personal ranking I'd give the overall best mouse on the market to the V2 Pro. Also spec wise the V2 Pro is objectively the best. But $99 for the Model O Pro is very enticing. And I'll probably buy one to review. I also expect it to be VERY popular if they do it well. I'd love to hear which one you decided to go with and your thoughts on it once you try it out.

@ThomasMuehler 7 ай бұрын
The dongle not working is a rare issue that can happen and does happen to any wireless mouse/peripheral. Including the G Pro X Superlight and Superlight 2. If you are unlucky and that happens you can either exchange it in store (depending on where you bought it) or go through an RMA. Which is why products come with warranties on the off change something breaks you are guaranteed a working product. No, in my opinion the Viper V2 Pro is much better than the Superlight 1 or 2. Again, all products have a failure rate so you always assume that risk. Sometimes it happens more often with a product than it should but that is pretty rare. The wireless dongle issue I do not think is one of those times. But you gotta do what you think is best.

Hello bro! I've got a really important question for me about the coating. I had the Viper Ultimate and i really disliked the coating (combined with the rubber sides). The coating (or the plastic, i basically mean the "surface" you grip) was hard to grip with my sweaty palms and the rubber sides were even worse for that when sweat arrived. Now the rubber sides are gone, but is this kind of like "textured plastic" also the coating of v2 pro? And also is the white version is different from the black? I'd expect the white version to be a bit more glossy and grippy than the black version, but its hard to determine just looking at the videos.
@ThomasMuehler
@ThomasMuehler Жыл бұрын
I don't know what the black version is like so I can't comment on that. Especially, as they have been different in the past. I can only comment on the white one since that's the one I've owned and the only one I've tried. It is very hard to explain what it is like. It is DIFFERENT than the black or white version of the RVU. Closer to the WHITE version of the RVU but still different. Which is different than the Black RVU. I'd say it is almost a "textured matte rubber". By that I mean it has a textured finish like PBT keycaps (which is what I would call it at first call but then it is more grippy and soft than that so it's not it). But then also feels a bit like a textured version of the GPX that has a very smooth/slick rubber feeling. Where I like the grip a lot better than the RVU. My hands don't sweat so I can't comment on that. But I find that I have way better grip with the Viper V2 Pro and out of all the mice I've tried it's one of my favorites. Up there with the Starlight 12 (which I think takes the cake on feel not including clicks but like coating), then GPX, Viper V2 Pro, and Roccat Burst Pro. None of those in any particular order after the Starlight 12. But have also heard a lot of people say that they DON'T like the coating. But that is such a personal preference thing it's hard to say. As like usual with the Viper lineup you have polar opposites where people either really LIKE it or really DISLIKE it.

@@Mefju23 OH NO! I'm sorry to hear that. I don't think I really know any mouse that will just stick to your hand without using grip tape. Which it comes with right? I can't remember. The only mouse that I think has "attached" itself to my hand is the Zy's Rail (MZ1) from Xtrfy as it has grooves that lock your fingers in place. They have a wireless variant now that may be worth checking out. The next is the Roccat Burst Pro Air. As the texture of that mouse is incredible. Unfortunately, the rest of the specs (when it comes to competitive FPS) falls a bit behind the big guys (Starlight 12, Viper V2 Pro, and G Pro X). But I gotta know. Did my explanation fit at all?! Or was I completely off? Also, gotta know what mouse your maining now or have been maining? I know you talked about the RVU but wasn't sure if that is the one or not.

Problem is that if it has the same quality as the viper ultimate then its terrible. My ultimate has very squeaking left and right buttons, which is a very common problem reported by other buyers, charging dock doesn't charge the mouse sometimes even if you do make sure it's connected correctly. The razer software resets the rgb settings on almost daily basis, mouse wheel click have stopped working unless I press down on it very hard. Feels like a beta test.
@ThomasMuehler
@ThomasMuehler Жыл бұрын
@@Noksivs You've clearly got a defective unit and should utilize the RMA. I haven't heard squeaky left/right buttons being a common problem with the RVU. I know when the Gen 1 switches there were a couple of issues but that was largely rectified with the Gen 2 switches. The charging dock I have heard some issues. Granted that is a common side effect of pogo chargers over Razer not doing it well. I also think a large majority of those problems stem from user error. As often if it isn't charging you don't have it on correctly or the leads have some debris preventing contact, at which point if you wipe them down with your finger and retry it should be fine. I've also heard of people have issues with Razer Synapse. This too has improved in time. But I agree the RGB thing can be frustrating as I think I would use different wording but think we are experiencing the same thing where the colors will disappear off the peripheral making you need to "color" it again. Mouse wheel click again is a defect which should be RMA'd. I've had three RVU and one Viper V2 Pro. My original RVU had Gen 1 switches which became defective after about 8 months. Otherwise all of my copies have been practically flawless. In general from my comment section >95% of people who comment haven't had any issues with their RVU. So, I think you've just gotten unlucky and are allowing it to color your perception of it. All mice have a "defective rate" that varies but from my research tends to be around 5%.

people forget R&D costs big money and is one of the main reasons we rely on big companies to give us the best products. few people can spend the kinda time or money on a single product to make it the best it can be. They have to recoup that money somehow. And part of that cost gets bundled into the product. It's simple math.
@ThomasMuehler

That's very true. What a lot of people aren't understanding about this mouse is that even though it has the same shape as the Razer Viper Ultimate that everything else about it has been built from the ground up. Just like the Razer Viper Ultimate was when it first released. Also, when you're pushing the boundaries of anything that is difficult to do. And I think Razer has the most impressive specs out of any other company (that I'm aware of). So, I'm not understanding why people are so upset with the price. Mice are complete personal preference. A mouse can't work for everybody and really comes down to the luck of the draw. Which is why there are so many shapes out there. I also think people tend to gravitate towards something they know and have a hard time trying and enjoying something new. Especially, when something works extremely well for them. So I completely understand where you are coming from and agree. I do enjoy the Deathadder V2 Pro a lot. But like you it doesn't fit me perfectly so I tend to go with other mice. Not saying the Viper V2 Pro is the perfect fit for me either but it is better than the Deathadder for my preferences. I would argue that the Viper shape is very hit and miss for people. Where you either really like it or hate it with very little in between. Where I would say in general the Deathadder or Logitech G Pro X shape is more universal where most people fall somewhere in the middle with fewer hitting the end spectrums (absolutely love or hate it).

Can someone tell me the difference between the 3395 and 3950?
@ThomasMuehler
@ThomasMuehler Жыл бұрын
There isn't a huge difference. But I personally believe that I feel one. Though most would say I am incorrect in that statement, that it is placebo, and I'm a moron. Which I can't discount. DPI also doesn't mean it is better. But I would argue that sensor accuracy, motion sync, adjustable lift off distance, and landing distance, along with increased DPI, G, and IPS when taken as a whole do make a difference (sum of the parts instead of a singular thing). Also, I'm not sure if you are meaning the difference between the Focus+ and the Focus Pro. Or the 3395 that is now coming out on other mice. Regarding the difference between the Focus+ and Focus Pro: Focus+: 20,000 DPI, 650 IPS, 50 G Acceleration, 99.6% resolution accuracy (Most other mice are 99%. Also, has three special features. Not using the official names as I'm blanking off top of my head. But Adjustable lift off distance, landing distance (which most mice don't have), and Motion sync (again which most mice don't have) where it will sync the refresh rate of your mouse to your monitor for increased tracking (which makes a difference in responsiveness and accuracy and I'd argue is one of the big reasons why this sensor feels so much more responsive than others). The Focus Pro has all of these as well, but better. Focus Pro: 30,000 DPI, 750 IPS, 70 G Acceleration, 99.8% resolution accuracy. Along with a a lot more adjustable lift off and landing distance. Forgot the actual count but 3395 has like 3 steps, this has like 20 or something. Which believe it or not actually does make a difference. But feels even more accurate than the Focus+. Is the best sensor on the market by a good margin. 3395 (releasing on new mouse such as the Lamzu Atlatis): - TLDR: Is a variant of Razer's Focus+ sensor. As Razer lost exclusivity to it. However, firmware from competition is not as good or polished as Razer's so it performs at a lower level. Which may change when the competition fine tunes their own firmware. As Razer's firmware is still exclusive to them. Also, the best sensor on the market (other than the Focus+ and Focus Pro sensor mentioned above). I personally, won't buy a new premium mouse if it doesn't have this in it. - Is a variant of Razer's Focus+ sensor. DPI is 26,000 with same 650 IPS and 50 G. The Focus+ is actually able to do 26,000 DPI as well and the difference here is due to software/firmware increase. Not a change in hardware. Kind of like how Logitech's HERO sensor was able to go from 12,000 DPI to 25,600 DPI. It also has the special features mentioned above. However, Razer was the one who perfected that tech on their sensors and is one reason why Razer's mice are ahead of the competition. New companies that have this sensor, while it is capable of the same thing, the firmware is not sold with it (as that is still exclusive to Razer and makes them superior). As from what I'm seeing online from people who test things a lot of people are still having problems with motion sync working as well as Razer's and often I don't see adjustments for landing distance. But do see it for lift off. But could be wrong about that.

@ThomasMuehler
@ThomasMuehler Жыл бұрын
@@Pneumavlr There is a lot. The basics is shape, size, weight are going to be most important. As sensors these days are all really good. But personally, I'd go with Razer's Focus+ or Focus Pro if you can find a shape you enjoy from them and can afford their mice. As they are expensive. Otherwise, I'd go with 3395. Lightweight tends to be better. My apologizes 3950 is the Focus Pro Sensor. PMW3950 from Pixart is going to be the technical term. Focus Pro for marketing. Also, most of the time that official name is going to be for the base model (sold by PIxart). Currently exclusive to Razer (but like the 3395 will eventually be open for use by everyone). But Razer's Focus Pro (while it may be a 3950) is a variant of that sensor with custom firmware from Razer. Which as mentioned in the previous comment can make a huge difference in performance.

"Worth the 150$?" --> In my opinion, no, but there is nothing to do. People already paid that much for the Viper Ultimate and the Superlight. We will see how things go with this one. I believe Razer could have done this at a better price not even now but a few years before. It is making the purchase while knowing this which would make me feel bad. For me, the 49g MM720 will stay on the desk. I cannot be bothered to sweat 150$ for a heavier mouse, just to lose the cord. That said, if you dig the shape and you want to get it, more power to you, I hope you enjoy it. I do not doubt that it is a very good attempt in search of the perfect mouse.
@ThomasMuehler
@ThomasMuehler 2 жыл бұрын
Appreciate your two cents Ibrahim! The MM720 is a spectacular mouse, especially for the price. I honestly don't understand how they make a profit from it. But I think the MM720 is a huge exception to the rule and does not fit inside the norm for price to performance. But because I'm genuinely curious and not trying to call you out but like to get peoples take on this as I'm trying to get a better understanding. What do you think a better price would be and what is your justification for said price? My two cents just to help with talking points if you need any. Focus Pro vs 3389 is night and day difference in terms of performance. Also, the 3389 is an established sensor so Cooler Master didn't pay for R&D or have to pay for growing pains/support (why is something not working when x happens). Also, didn't have to push past the previous best (26,500 DPI, 650 IPS, 60 G). This alone probably costs more than the MM720 does in it's entirety. Weight. 49 grams is a seriously impressive feat. However, it is a smaller mouse (less weight), has a ton of holes (easier to get less weight), and is wired (no battery equals less weight). Where the V2 Pro is a larger mouse, has no holes, and is wireless. If you did do holes then the V2 Pro can actually be the same weight if not less. Bearded Bob was able to mod his to 46 - 49 grams without putting holes in the top shell. Again, this costs a lot of money to get right. Material. I think V2 Pro uses higher grade materials which costs more money. With it having wireless, a better sensor, a battery, on/off switch, the PCB needs to be a lot higher quality and does more. Which again costs a lot more money. The software for the MM720 is also less robust. However, both Razer and Cooler Master are available in multiple markets and have support options so this could theoretically be a wash cost wise. PTFE feet are a wash. Both use optical switches. The LK Optical switches feel good and perform well. Razer reports theirs at 100 mil and the LK are 70 mil. Is this accurate? Unknown. Not sure how this could effect cost. End point. The Razer Viper V2 Pro has better material, better engineering, dramatically better specs, and more robust software. All of that costs a lot more money. But how much? That is the question. For me any flagship device that pushes the current standard forward is probably a lot more expensive to make then I would imagine. But I could also be a sheep and be drinking the koolaid. Looking forward to your hopeful response. Again, this is a discussion, my current opinion is very open to change, and am very curious on your thoughts.
