Not only is MJ the goat. But he's the unrivaled goat because he kept getting better and improving. LeBron has also improved but he ebbs and flows. He shines and then shrinks. Rinse and repeat. And his level of improvement was never as good as Jordan's. Jordan had more talent than LeBron, but also kept working to improve all aspects of his game. While LeBron has merely refined his abilities, which mainly revolve around his size. And when LeBron shrinks, he can and has crashed spectacularly.

Wilt wasn't known for a fadeaway, a crossover, mid flight adjustments, or any handling skills. He was super tall and could jump as well as Jordan, if the stories are indeed true.

@@shiro9112 We'll never really know. In Wilt's day the pay wasn't very good. So the level of competition wasn't as high. And trainers, recruiters, and coaches weren't nearly as good or knowledgeable as they are today. Wilt kinda stands alone because his era isolated him. And that's unfortunate. We'll never know how good Wilt could have been in the 80's or 90's when basketball finally reached a sophisticated level.

MJ's stats, analytics, winning record and individual accolades are just unapproachable. Even in the 90s, without analytics, the world knew the were witnessing a talent in basketball so great that he became the number one most well known athlete in any sport. In todays age, with the new player tracking tech and the world is still in awe of his accomplishments and how staggering/unbeatable it is. Its just incredible.

In high school, being an absolute Michael Jordan, Joe Montana, and Ronnie Lott fanatic, I chose my favorite all-time plays by each one of those guys....don't know why, but that no look, over his head, backwards shot Jordan made against the Jazz @8:35 is my favorite of his...the way slapped his own hand to flick the ball just out of the reach of the defender was incredible....

Here's another Jordan stat... other than his last year with the bulls, the year he broke his foot and the Wizard years, Jordan's lowest career single season FG% is higher than Kobe's career best single season FG%. And the 2 things Kobe was better at in the regular season (3pt% and FT%), MJ surpassed Kobe in both come playoff time. Jordan was an absolute winner and will forever be the GOAT.

Let's be honest at best LBJ is the second best basketball player, but Michael Jordan is way too far ahead for any player to catch up to him. This guy always has something that's impossible and it just doesn't end there. Michael Jordan is probably the greatest athlete in the history of sports as we know it.

@@bio2020 He might know a lot, but the way I see it fits for me MJ had the better carreer and the dominant stats. Kobe had the mentality and that shit worked, but he was not as dominant as Jordan. Now Bron is a freak of nature that sad for him under performed because he was way overrated as a youngster. But he has the consistency like Jordan, the crowd like Kobe. Just not the achievements both others have. See 0.0 : - his mentality is lazy in comparison with Jordan and Kobe. And there for, he aint it.
