We land on the beautiful Lady Elliot island, the southern most island in the Great Barrier Reef.
Some of the best diving we've ever seen, we knew we were cutting it close with a weather pattern, but we had to sneak one last cheeky dive and then the storm hits us. And of course is much worse then predicted!

Well that was a fun storm ‼️‼️ Sooooooo much amazing underwater beauty. Did not seem to see much with the blue (UV) light on the night dive to see all the colors, but hey.it's all. ✨🌊💨💨⛵️🏝👙🌞✨

Great episode - as always. Big thank you's for on-screen names of what we were looking at. Took well over an hour, probably nearer two, to watch all the way through because I kept pausing to read up about some of the creatures. Most impressed with the epaulette fish that can 'walk' on land.

It seems like yesterday Nate i watched drenched start start its journey. I enjoyed your discovery on SSL. You have molded a beautiful life for yourself. This was an incredible video. I dont get to watch you as much as I'd like but love to pop in an see your adventures continue. You look so happy. Enjoy this amazing adventure you call life!!💞

Since you received the last piece of constructive criticism so well, here is another: it would be really neat to include a segment early on in each episode that shows the boat’s record of travel on a global map with dates and then a more regional or local map of your exact location in the episode. Then maybe a diagram of what the viewer is about to see, such is a sketch of the reef, island, or wreck right here so we can mentally orient ourselves before exploring along with you. In ever episode, I’m catching myself wondering where the scenes are in more specific detail.

I have been diving at Lady Elliot in the 90's. So many Manta Rays are over there. You could see them already before landing on the airstrip as wide as the island is. Good memories!

Always beautiful! Question: it seems like you all (or many of you) do the BC dump on descent holding UP the manual inflator, what happened to the shoulder dump? Sooo much easier, and logical.

Love the channel; first one I watch when it comes up. Suggestion: okay, maybe a criticism. Please put the names of the fish and plants only in one place like the lower left corner of the screen. It is distracting to have to be watching for where the name will pop up so as to not miss it and it takes away a bit of the focus. Regardless, I'm a committed fan of Expedition Drenched.
