That's not "a hold". The defensive player intentionally grabs the jersey. That's a perfect definition of an "intentional foul".

Has anyone here ever refereed a game before? Here are some errors I noted. 1. Where does it say that a player has hold their positions on the jump ball? 2. The are more than 2 types of fouls. 3. Wrong charge signal. Even if it was the correct signal your mechanics are awful. 4. Wrong holding signal. 5. That is not the signal for a block. Check the manual. 6. The term " over the back " does not exist in the rule book. 7. If you want people to treat you seriously, use proper terminology. "Tech foul" is not proper terminology. 8. Your mechanics for a technical foul are also awkward. 9. Not every technical foul warrants an ejection. Not every technical has ejection as possible penalty either... i.e. fouls that are charged to the team.. too many players, delay of game etc. 10.Intentional foul signal- wrong again. It is to be above the head. 11. Nowhere in the rule book does it say that all non-shooting players need to be beyond half court when shooting technical, intentional, or flagrant free throws. 12. The offended team is awarded the ball at the spot nearest the foul after an intentional, flagrant or technical foul. 13. Violation signals are weak. 14. Whether or not the player makes an attempt to cross the division line is irrelevant. The team needs to establish control of the ball prior to the expiration of the 10 second count.

Uranus Uranium unfortunately the makers of this video have yet to reply so I suspect they are still encouraging these terrible officiating practices.

Keep in mind that this was used for intramural sports at this college, these guys won't be seen on TV in a D-1 game anytime soon.

When do they get taught to cheat for Vegas paychecks???? It's blatantly obvious to anyone who follows college basketball.
