Great news for the arrival of the long awaited panel! 🎉 To workshop Lewis and computer Lewis, I try to feel your pain and it sucks, the frustration is disheartening for such a process! I’m not an E30 enthusiast, but I love watching this build for the courage you display and that you are not afraid to lift rocks to find 🦀 I also love how you edit and produce an excellent content, the way you format the videos which makes it fun and anticipating to watch. I like the comedy and quick process of progress in each video, so we don’t have to watch in real time- this makes for enjoyable content. Keep it up 😁 There is always the highs and lows in life, just how we choose to look at it!! 😊

Dude the struggle is real and you have dealt with it which having to work around it will only make future builds easier . It’s made me think about getting my ass into gear and getting my other e30 going and doing a few mods you have done

you should take the fenders and make a fiberglass mold and make fiberglass or carbon fenders, and keep the original fenders on the wall for safe keeping ( maybe make a few extra and sell them )

Not being a hardcore E30 guy, what's the difference between the E30 standard door and an E30 M3 door? Congrats on FINALLY receiving the quarter!

The regular E30s have that little bumper that runs along the doors and holes for it to attach to, M3s don’t have them so are slightly different. I can modify the door I have but I’d prefer to use a genuine one

With the currency conversion and shipping as well as the work to re-skin the door, if I have to go down the non genuine route I’ll modify the door I have.

Have you tried in nz for a door? Definitely hard trusting people getting parts from other countries. I was forwarding parts from nz to ausy for a guy who brought my lights.

I'm only on Ep27 so don't know if you've covered it. How are you going to access the bolts (fastners) to remove the rear shocks in future?

Is there a difference between M3 e30 door and a regular e30 door? For about 30 years ago I built an m3 e30 with a 320 chassi. I bought a wrecked m3 1987 and took everything inc driveline except front and rear fenders who were damaged so I bought new. I could use the backwindowframe from the m3. I painted it in Dakargelb about one year before the M3 e36 came out in Dakargelb. I had so much fun with that car. I enjoy watching your films.. /Mattias from Sweden

Yeah there is a difference, the M3 doors don’t have the door bumpers on them so don’t have holes in them

@@blacknightcreations The e30 m3 is not sold so much in Europe either . when there sol the cost about 85000-160000 Euro . After I sold my car I always have checked prices on m3´s. In the around year 2000 the cheapest m3 e30 was sol for 3600 euro in Sweden.... My copy I sold for 8000euro...... I wish I kept it... I do have a friend that have 2 e30 m3s (one Turbocharged)... and a third in parts.

I also purched e30 m3 quarter panels in 2017, i waited untill 2021 untill i gave up and made a refund from BMW. absolute nightmare becouse i allready cut up my car becouse BMW said it will take two months for it to arrive... best of luck- look up E30 Garage norway - good seller.
