Let's not kid ourselves. It's over. The biggest difference between us and City is consistency. It's been our theme for the last few years, waiting for other teams to drop points even on the final day. City and Arsenal both have to lose one and draw one? And even then we have to have a superior goal difference? Nah! it's a wrap. Hell of a season, bring on the next one. 🙌🏼

Liverpool, have been punching above their weight all season. Scraping wins from a losing position. They've grafted the most to get over the line in those matches. In the end, all that effort has eventually caught up with them, and tiredness has kicked in.

Liverpool, are effectively 4 points behind Arsenal, and probably 5 points behind City once they play their games in hand. Benty, bless him. Zero maths knowledge. I'd give him a calculator...but he wouldn't calculate how to use it! Currently, can't see Liverpool getting ANY win in their remaining games.

Problem for Liverpool is that after last night they have no margin for error left, they are relying on City and Arsenal blowing up in the last games and it is very unlikely that both will.

Points wise it's not over but confidence wise, performance wise they are done. City won't win all their games. Arsenal have Spurs & Man U away, they could easily win those. They have 4 games left and they need to give it everything. It theirs for the taking.

Neutral here with no agenda. The problem for Liverpool is not only the loss but the goal differential. Arsenal are essentially 4 points up on Liverpool with only 4 matches to go. However, Arsenal still do have two away matches to Tottenham and United. I could easily see them dropping points in both games. As for City, today’s game away to Brighton could be tricky. And their very next game is away to Forest who are fighting for their lives. I agree. It’s not over yet.

Plenty of Reds saw us dropping points in this - not been watchiing us the last month?? Conceded the first goal in 15 games this season. Atrocious. Mo Salah and Jurgen are an absolute disgrace. They’ve both been legends for us but now they’ve totally given up and they’ve destroyed our season completely. Their performances haven't been THAT bad, although I can see why you might make the assumption. As professional athletes I would doubt Salah would put anything in his body that doessn't help him with performance and recovery so really I think your comments are wide of the mark on this one.

You can't be exactly always sure, even though Liverpool have dropped off in form a bit, it was expected by practically everyone for them they'd win the Merseyside Derby that it wouldve been an easy 3 points, and look what took place, they lost badly. Also various Man City players have admitted they're exhaused and Halaands form has been kinda shocking, don't predict City will retain the title just yet because you cannot exactly know for sure!

As American we don't care about best league wins/points. Tournament/playoffs championship like FA cup or European/champions league held more bearing. Best league record can be bought even you've been charged with over 100 illegal fair plays.
