I admit that at first I didn't like how insufferable and lazy T.J acted at first but in the end, he managed to prove that he is a good friend and cares about Gretchen when he realized that he made a mistake that hurt her and he took responsibility to make up for it

I can relate to Gretchen. I had a similar experience in school. While I had to try hard to get somewhat decent grades others frequently got fairly good grades just for being lively and smooth-tongued without any effort. I don't blame the students though. I blame the fucking incompetent pricks who call themselves "teacher". They are like "Oh this guy is so likeable. I give him a pass. But this guy is meh...so fail!" Even now 7 years after graduation my face turns red when I remember all those "teachers".

That is part of the dumbing down of the education system my friend. They intentionally lower the passing grades in many schools because they want the schools to look better & receive more compensation from their region's education board.

Education is a joke anymore. By God's grace, I learned more about science, geography, archaeology, philosophy, history and theology from my own pursuit and research than ANYTHING I was exposed to at school, be it public school or at college. Heck, just reading on my own time taught me more about words and spelling than any English course managed to do. As far as I'm concerned, most of school is just pointless busy work. I don't feel well-rounded from Algebra, nor do I feel sophisticated or more cultured from reading Hamlet or Flowers For Algernon. Honestly, I'd rather forget Algernon altogether...

It's known as the Baaren-Meinhof phenomenon. When you realize something once and they you begin to see it over and over, even looking back on things. Kind of like you hearing a word that you believe is the first time, and then watching a rerun of a show and hearing that word there, and then it's just like an everyday word.

T.J. will become a king in sixth grade, but he'll try to give up the throne. As previously stated, T.J. becoming a king is almost inevitable, given that he's Prankster Prince, King Bob respects him and he already acts as a leader to kids of the playground. However in a twist, he'll find the throne incredibly lonely and boring.

Although cartoons and even school officials call it permanent to make it sound more threatening the kids so they will behave. And exaggerate how it will follow you to adulthood. Even if it did, you job won’t care what you school record is.

Gordy more so than Gretchen. Gordy didn't like him for no reason, but Gretchen had a reason for being unhappy with him. She felt like she was being slighted because she kept getting in trouble, while he got away with doing the same thing. *But I'm glad he made it up to her 😊. He can be a good friend.
