FUN FACT: The current Prime Minister of Pakistan Imraan Khan once when he was an active player said "Lets pray Cricket and resolve the Kashmir issue through the means of it. The winner gets the whole of Kashmir to keep permanently." Then he became the Prime Minister of of his country and this time when the Cricket World cup was played in 2019 many Indians tweeted him teasing him that should we play the A Cricket match and decide to whom the Kashmir belongs to. Its because till date Pakistan has not won even a single game against India in any of the World cups and this time too It lost against us. And the Kashmir issue was still unresolved at the time and Article-370 was yet to be removed.

Cricket has a rich history in the USA. Before the Civil War, cricket was a very popular sport in the USA & Canada. In fact, most of the US founding fathers, including George Washington himself, played Cricket. The very first International Cricket was played between the USA and Canada in 1844 at a cricket ground in New York. Baseball took its place only after the Civil War.

Jaby CANADA has a Cricket Team and they have played in some World Cups. Also USA just regained their ODI status some time back. England (for Achara) again planning to start a new format which is called THE HUNDRED (OF 100 balls) which is on hold because of Coronavirus pandemic. Also in Test they have Day Night game with a pink ball instead of traditional red ball.

They talked about who won the first world cup. Before world cup how one day was made then 1987 first world cup outside England in india. Then 2007 first T20 world cup.

Canada has a cricket team, they even participated in the cricket world cup 2011 alone side with Netherlands, Ireland, Scotland and Kenya, etc.. Actually, their is a division among cricket playing nations on the basis of their involvement, participation, performance, history and interest, etc., like - 1) full member nations and 2) associate member nations. Basically, countries playing all three formats especially the test format are termed as 'Full member nations' and countries playing either one or two format(s), i.e., O.D.I. or T - 20 or in some cases both are termed as 'Associate member nations'. In fact even America, Italy, France, Nepal, Singapore, China and Brazil, etc., have a status of 'Associate member nations' in cricket. On the other hand, countries like Morocco, Zambia, etc., were former members of ICC (cricket board) but currently (2021) are no longer members of ICC. Remember membership status is a dynamic thing which amends from time to time, so, renewal is always a possibility. Stay safe and healthy Thank you

I'm from Pakistan and I got goosebumps watching India win the 83 World Cup, it was a great feat for that team, and also the 2007 T20 WORLD CUP was set on fire by India especially Yuvraj hitting those six sixes, I would've wanted that ball to sail over and Pakistan to win in the finals but that's how it is.

Achara's face every time Stephen Fry's mug appears in the clip... I have sometimes wondered if it was only I who had that feeling of warmth and delight spread through me every time I watch him on any media in some form. Now I know I'm not alone! For me cricket was never huge. In the 80s and early 90s, when television had become a major player in our daily lives, my mother and I used to love watching the cricket greats do their thing. As school became (for me) more onerous, it became harder and harder to catch more than an over or two of even the one-dayers. However, with the advent of the short (and apparently much, much more lucrative) Twenty-Twenty matches, the game of cricket no longer provides me with a tenth of the pleasure it used to when I was a young boy. And yes, I did watch the entire '83 match. I guess, that was then and this is now.

We see so many sports but one of them is cricket, which is not only a game, but it is also an emotion. We feel happy when we see players playing well, or winning the match, and we feel sad when they didn't play well, or even injured. There are a lot of emotional moments in cricket.. our hearts broke when an Australian cricketer in fact a legend, Philip Hughes passed away after getting struck on the neck by the ball, and we still can't forget that, it feels sad to see a cricketer leave the world..

You guys should definitely react to Amazon's "The Test" documentary. It follows the Australian cricket team and it's one of the best sports documentaries I've seen. Plus, it's got 3 episodes dedicated to them playing against India.
