Even in Covid, he donated 1500 cr (slightly over $200 Million) in earliest relief funds, and later on more than $150 Million too. In an interview, he was asked "What if country needs more from u ? How could would u like to give ?" He replied, "I can give everything I own to my country as this is the land which gave me all this things and these are those people. Govt can ask me anytime they need more/extra donations for any such relief purposes." He never let his net worth pass over $1-1.2 Billion. Otherwise, if he dont do this all, he would surely have been over $1 Trillion right now (more than GDP of 180 countries). Cuz of these good deeds, people in India have huge respect for him and workers and engineers love to work in his companies even with a lesser salary.
