That is an interesting detail. It never ceases to amaze me the amount of fake letters that were about just to sell papers.

It's not bs nor a valid point. He could've cut up her face & probably hadn't time to cut off the ear but was maybe in a hurry before the police constable made his rounds. He did say he could hear the constables footsteps approaching & coroner report mentioned an attempt to cut off the ears, or part of it.

Thanks for the info. Most people beleive they were all fakes, but I'm open to the idea that there might some real letters.

@@OwenNeidhart you are welcome. i have been studying serial murder for years and i researched this case because it angered me that people were so greedy all they cared about was the money they could make off the victims. Even ex detectives jumped on the money wagon so me and a few other found Jack that was not the hard part the hard part is what we are doing now and that is to get the hard evidence for the court. Jack the Ripper was a man named George Hutchinson we are 100% sure on this. the cops missed him back then because they had no idea what a serial killer was or how to catch one. once we solve the case you will never see books or movies about how we did it and we will never take a penny for solving it as we did it for the victims and their families.

Oh, if only someone had the foresight to keep some samples of the kidney and of the victim's tissues, in hopes of future technologies being able to tell more. Nowadays, a DNA test would tell if they're a match (or if the kidney was even human, which it supposedly was as best they could tell) Intriguingly, it was part of a left kidney. The victim's left kidney was removed. Hmmm.... Another thing to consider - some of the suspects were low-class Jews who barely spoke English, if at all. So his writing skills likely would also be rudimentary. A short, poorly spelled letter would be more likely if this were true. Again, wish they photographed the graffito before washing it away, to compare handwritings
