Ripe Jackfruit Cake Recipe is yummy cake made with fresh sweet ripe jackfruit. It is also known as Pansache Dhonas in Goa.
Jackfruit Cake Recipe
Ingredients
Jackfruit puree - 2 cups
Soaked semolina / idli rava - 1 cup
grated coconut - 1 cup
jaggery - 1 cup
salt - 1/ 2 tsp
cardamom / elechi powder - 1/2 tsp
almonds / cashew nuts
ghee for greasing the pan
Method
1. Deseed the Jackfruit.
2. Place the pulp of the jackfruit into a blender and make a smooth puree.
3. combine all the ingredients above except ghee.
4 . Mix all the ingredients well until the jackfruit cake batter comes together.
5. Grease the cake pan and pour the batter into it.
6. Prepare the steamer by adding water and bringing to a boil on medium flame.
7. Place the cake pan in the steamer and allow it to cook for 30 minutes.
8. After 30 minutes remove the cake pan from the steamer and allow the Jackfruit cake to cool down completely.
9. Once cooled, demould the cake.
10. Jackfruit Cake is ready to eat. 🍰
