Showing some test renders from this weekend that I made quickly using photogrammetry assets. You an grab these assets too! See below for scan author credits.
The Jackimorphic v1.0 is the first optics based anamorphic lens kit for blender cycles to deliver an accurate anamorphic distortion look rendered in camera. Look at my channel for more information. Find this on Blender Market! 2.0x, 1.33x and 1.5x currently available.

:) thanks dude! just hoping to push 3D artists to combining their skill with the photography/cinematography world! exciting times with Blender these days. I put alot of time in to learning optical design stuff so I'm trying to get a bit of cash out of the results before making a tutorial series of sorts. I think theres a big future with this sort of method !

Nice! Out of curiosity, how many samples does it take to compensate for the glass lens?

Really depends on the scene contents, its hard to do a side by side comparison, denoising definitely helps a ton as well. If youre curious to try them out I can send a copy over!
