Jaclyn saying she didn’t want to be a salesman anymore was only pertaining to her own brands, which was an excuse. She ditched her brands because they weren’t doing well. She has no problem going back to her old school sponsorship ways. That’s all she knows. Too bad she can’t just be honest about literally anything.

She never even owned any large makeup companies. She had a partnership with one and a couple of lines. Her online brand definitely didn’t have 100s or 1000s of employees lol. Most of it (if not all) was drop shipping. Still shitty of her to let her business partners down and the employees she did have. But we shouldn’t overblow her actual status (like she tries to do). She was only CEO of Koze. And that flopped real quick. Probably didn’t even have more than 50 actual employees across the board. I’d be surprised if it was even 25 with actual W2s. That’s the higher end for brands like that before they go brick and mortar. Shit she could’ve had ten honestly lol. Some small online only successful jewelry brands operate at that level. It’s still 10 people she screwed over, none the less

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I don't like Jaclyn Hill, and never have. There's always been something off about her, and as time has gone on I've seen that my gut feelings about her have proven correct. She's a liar and extremely untrustworthy. I try my best to give people the benefit of the doubt, especially celebs because there is misinformation online about them ALL the time. But, Jaclyn herself has proved time and time again that she is a fake and completely untrustworthy. It's really a shame.

As a viewer we typically like the people we watch and understand they need to get paid so we either watch or skip through the sponsorships and keep it pushing. What we don’t appreciate is being lied to like we’re dumb sheep 🙂 if only they’d get that through their heads maybe they wouldn’t be so shady.

I’m here for the FTC cracking down, ads should be straightforward & obvious, but UGC is huge with brands and while the premise is to come across authentic it’s sneaky to pass these ads off as organic. Just be honest, I’d rather someone be up front, I don’t fault any one for taking a brand deal. Just don’t lie about it.

15K per violation is nothing for these big influencers! The revenue they get from one post largely covers it. The amount should at least increase per violation for repeat offenders. If it doesnt hurt their bottom line at all, they’re just gonna keep doing it :(

Tbh what she said about the milk primer is true. I’ve only used it with milk foundation, but both of them really don’t make you break out and do suction to your face and it is sticky but fresh. So can’t hate. Sometimes when I had acne the milk makeup would help clear my skin more than leaving it alone without makeup
