I always thought this is a big reason why people were so excited to welcome Jeffree back, while other people were bewildered, since we know he s a bad person. In my honest opinion, I feel Jaclyn Hill is living in cloud cuckoo land. She's lost all credibility, integrity and frankly a lot of people's respect. She refuses to acknowledge the truth when it's needing to be told, and continues to dig herself deeper into a hole of no return. She's great at deflecting and acting like the victim and she's so beyond boring that cancelling her wouldn't be necessary. It's great that the truth is slowing coming to light. I can't say that I'm surprised by all the news that's come out. As always Thank You for your reporting !

Her tutorials and reviews are also really fake. She uses so many beauty filters and she’s not transparent about how the products really work. I used to look up to her so much and try so hard to recreate her looks but now I see it’s all fake which is really disappointing.

I'm curious given this new information how much of a financial hit Jaclyn and Jaclyn Cosmetics personally took when refunding the lipsticks because she made it seem like she herself suffered a huge financial loss from that debacle. well it looks like Jaclyn lost NOTHING! bc she didn’t OWN jaclyn cosmetics, she wasn’t even an investor! it was some sham Jaclyn & morphe came up with i guess, to pretend like it’s Jaclyn’s brand, 100%, so that her and morphe could rake in the cash! however lipstickgate happened! an refunding all those lipsticks , had to be the beginning of morphe having financial problems, so JH saying, the lipsticks had costed her sooo much money, is a big fat LIE! and they didn’t even have quality control! like jen luv says, the PR box JH had we’re NOT the same as the customer ones! And after the contaminated lipsticks, they STILL release highlighters , from the SAME lab?! Karma is a B I T CH! Look at how JH treated people!? an she doesn’t care about lying to her followers an scamming them, so im glad she’s FINALLY getting called out for all the shady crap she does! An all she does is cry poor me, an play the victim, she’s the biggest narcissist , i’ve ever seen!

If that’s how much they owe, I’m curious how much they actually made. Which is very strange because their products weren’t even high quality, it was more hype from content creators that individuals chose to buy Morphe products that were over priced with your 10% discount(which imo was a way for Morphe to see what content creator had the most popularity to continue sponsoring them).The products were almost like merch that fans saw as memorabilia to them.

Quality and sanitary control are IMPERATIVE in the cosmetic world, and highly irresponsible for Morphe to continue the sale of highlighter sticks while knowing the lab does not meet FDA standards like that. They are fortunate they weren't investigated by the FDA (not to my knowledge) regarding the potential quality of those sticks after the lipstick scandal. (and if you are wondering, yes, cosmetics are within a subsector regulation in the FDA since it does contribute to human health, and I mean every cosmetics, even your toothpaste)

I’m a makeup artist, and I’m always so worried about suggesting brands and products because of stuff like this. Thankfully there are still some companies I trust and haven’t let us down, but knock on wood! It’s also terrifying that brands like Balenciaga were selling child abu$e right out in the open without fear. What Jaclyn did was scummy, but I’m far more upset with consumers for NOT dragging out the torches and pitchforks for Balenciaga! They should NEVER get a penny from anyone ever again. 🤬

Not to mention... The world of trouble that some of the "drama" channels were receiving, (like Tea Spill, Sam, Viper Chicks, etc.) at the time, when they were trying to expose all of this. Their channels were either struck or they received not so nice letters threatening them to stop. But... In the end, the truth will eventually be revealed.

As a former QC employee, it is totally possible to check that product in that time frame. You just check a few each batch. I mean I inspected nuts & bolts and wiring harnesses, but it can’t be much more involved.

I’ve never heard her say more Morphe explicitly but she did say in her video where she was launching her jewelry line that her jewelry was her first launch without investors. I don’t think she ever said that her makeup line was exclusively hers. I don’t mean to sound like I’m nitpicking and she definitely could have been more transparent but I don’t think she lied per se.

I believe that she could say that she “owned” it because morphie was simply categorized as an investor or logistical support. Which investing does not mean ownership unless through means of stock. Which I do not believe that the company was ever public, so that would not be an option.

She said it's her brand, she NEVER said she funded the brand all by herself! She has talked about her investors. Watch her "Introducing Jaclyn Roxanne" video she talks about it AGAIN and how her jewelry line is the first brand she has funded completely on her own! Also, she is referring to it as a family business because she literally hired her entire family and had been able to give them a good life as a result of this business. It's just like when family owned business' grow, they have to hire more employees other than family. Her whole family works for her and she has employees because her brand and customer base is a huge business. PLEASE show proof where she said no one helped her financial. Please show me proof where she ever said she's the only owner and had no partners. Y'all can't.

She could own the brand and be president with Morphe being an investor or manufacturer for her brand.

I am not a make-up guru and have no idea how any of this works; but, why would Jaclyn take the blame for that lipstick? Let's be honest those atrocious lipsticks did not do that much damage to her or "Her Brand". It seems as if no one has to take responsibility for any of their actions. They disappear from the public eye and before you know it most of them are back picking up right where they left off.

I’m guessing her hands were legally tied to avoid her shifting blame to Morphe, and there may have been some legal finagling on Morphe’s end to present this company as Jaclyn’s own brand to maximize profit (people were suspicious about her relationship with Morphe and overall over Morphe as a brand) and to minimize risk if anything went wrong creating further headaches for Morphe’s image.

Seems to me they pulled an “Austin McBroom.” And miscalculated revenue in the long term. Valuing their business partners way more than they are actually with
