I'm so surprised there has been no announcement over JH cosmetics yet. When I visited the US two weeks ago every Marshalls and TJ Maxx was FULL of JH cosmetics items.

when Marlena was doing her mystery boxes, she put it down as fair, medium and medium dark. The fair medium is what I ordered and it was all medium. I can’t use any of it. So when a cosmetic brand is dying, I highly recommend staying away from it. I think that’s why all her items are 50% off to lure you in and then God knows what they do to you after that once they get your money they don’t care.

she clearly thought success was going to follow her - but she has no interest in putting in any effort whatsoever. its probs why she liked collabing w morphe so much - all she had to do was pick from shades she liked and existing brushes and voila, her own "collection" with minimal to no effort, but she gets to reap the benefits. she probably thought it would be the same with her own brands, only she'd be able to pocket more since no collab, and wasn't expecting that she'd actually need to be involved. basing ur entire brand on urself is a bad business move anyway. sure you could have short term success, but ur brand doesnt get to stand on its own. its why for eg brands like one size, rare and fenty are still going strong - they were started by influential ppl, but u don't associate the founder/creator first; its a makeup line before its "xxx's brand" - which is why a lot of ytbers brands fail.
