James I have been flying my cub for over 27 years in Alaska. Never worry about nothing as I had a very good mechanic but now that he is gone, I have been watching your videos, what a learning curb. I remember him lecturing me after every inspection with the same details that you are referring to. Obviously I am pretty much interested in the Super Cub video. Thank you for the details Really. MJB

I was a partner in a business where we had from 15 to 18 Super Cubs operating mostly in towing gliders. All of them had been upgraded to 180hp engines as we were towing at the USAFA in Colorado Springs, elevation 6500 feet. We also towed for Black Forest Gliderport where some wave tows went to level with the top of Pikes Peak, elevation 14.410 feet. Since we often had six or more tows an hour, the point of greatest concern for structural failure was the clusters where the landing gear attached to the lower longerons.

Hey... Great Videos. I got my A&P in 1998 and used it for about 3 months before getting hired as a co-pilot at Great Lakes. I feel bad that I did not get more experience as an A&P, but my goal was always to fly. Your videos remind me of all the things that I learned while going to school. Keep up the good work. Nice to see you working on GA aircraft again. Very helpful to see a professional do it, as I do all the inspections and repair jobs myself.
