To the people who requested Mewes: Thank you. This is not something I would have ever thought of on my own and immediately hit play once I realized that it's something I really wanted.

They were born a day apart. They live 7 minutes apart. They both have absurd, sometimes hilarious, stories of addiction and run ins with the law. They both have even bigger, more triumphant, and inspiring stories of recovery. And I've idolized both since I was a teenager. It was bound to happen and im so glad it did, my only complaint is that it wasn't longer; I hope they collaborate on more!

Jason's Thanksgiving story brought tears to my eyes. Such a heartbreaking moment, for both of them.

Have to say thanks to Steve-O and Jason Mewes, cause am a couple days into sobriety and seeing you guys talking bout it helps... Blessing to everybody... Keep on Rockin...

Me and a friend met Jason at a comicon one year when his lineup was starting to calm down. He took extra time to talk with us like we were all buddies hanging out instead of brushing us off after we got his autograph. All around solid dude.

Two of my favorite. Glad they are both sober. A big motivation for me to continue with my recovery. I had 4 years of sobriety. I Relapsed. But am on my 6th week of sobriety. Thanks guys.

The fact that people wanted this is amazing and the fact that Kevin helped Jay out so much is also amazing. Shows how much he cared and thank god for Jay's wife because she helped Kevin so he could be here today. Their friendship is so tight knit. Their families are so tight knit. I love this and the fact that both Steve-O and Jay have come so far in life knowing it wasn't easy but they did it. Great job guys!! Thank you Kevin as well and everyone involved in helping these two change their lives for the better!! ♥

I had the honor of spending a day with Mewes. He was the most genuine and down to earth person I've ever met. He aslo drank at least 4 espresso and 5 cups of coffee, and still managed to fall asleep in the afternoon. It was one of the best days of my life. Keep up the great Pod Steve-O. Jason just makes me feel good. I get the same deep feelings of nostalgia when I see him in real life, as I do when I rewatch Clerks, every year and a half or so. So glad to see him doing well. Between Jason and Steve-O, there is 2 guys that could have easily NOT gotten straightened out, or even possibly not survived. Stay strong guys.

As I put the pipe down to comment here, I won't get crazy and say that this episode has suddenly motivated to stop right now, but hearing the two badasses talk about their struggles so honestly and humbly, and with love even, I do feel a little less hopeless. I appreciate that so much.

There’s a big Lego community on KZfaq. Someone like Jason would strive in it. I’d certainly watch all his stuff. And if he gets big enough he can join the Lego Ambassador Network (LAN) where he can get free Lego in order to review and promote it

So much of my childhood was trying to be like the characters that Steve O and Jason played in movies. I’m not proud of all those things I did, but i am proud to say that I still want to be just like these guys!!!

Jason's such a cool dude. I game with him sometimes which at first I thought would just be for his stream, but he is a true gamer. Dude comes on while on the road or behind stage to get a few rounds in when he can, it cracks me up. During his last film tour we'd be playing while he was literally 10 minutes from having to go on stage. I told him it was weird going from a teen watching his movies while burnin one to playing video games with him while burnin one lol. What he says about an hour feeling like 6 hours... yup. That's a good friend he has, wish I had a friend like that on this side of the country. Anyways, Snootches

Great interview. And I love how Steve-O was candid enough to ask Jay about his addiction but also the fact he knew when to call time on the discussion. Real respect for his guest didn't want it just to be about drugs. Great to see these guys healthy and happy.

Late to watch this as i have just recently found Steve-O’s podcasts. I listened to the entire show and really enjoyed Mewes honesty. Working my way through your podcast list and its great stuff…watched Dane cook, carrot top, pauly shore, dave englund to name a few.

Wow, my childhood/nostalgia is on full blast right now, never thought I’d want to see this. But I’m so glad they made this happen.

Not sure how I missed this 3 months ago, but I'm glad they played some clips and I got to see it. Steve-O on point as usual! This made me have mad respect for Kevin Smith. All 3 of them and icons in my life and I'm so glad they are alive to tell these stories.

I remember being 8 years old, Jay and silent Bob Strike Back just came out. My older sister burnt me a cd from napster or kazaa with the 'f*ck song' on the cd. I got hooked and started singing it in school. Just totally throws me back thinking about that song and the weird but formative impact this movie and the culture of the time had on me as a kid. Jason seems like a great dude

So proud of Jason man. Sobriety is so difficult for so many people. My dad overdosed and died from fentanyl so I definitely know that struggle. He's an icon and good dude. Love ur podcast stevo keep it up man.👍

its so cool to see jay mewes and steve o, who were deep into addiction, now be well and be such sweethearts. addictions a bitch, i did heroin and oxys and cocaine for 15 years, but now ive been off all that for 2 1/2 years, and i dont wanna feel dopesick ever again, its the worst feeling you can possibly imagine. so much love to these two who won the fight, and keep fighting every day.

Definitely one of my favorite episodes!!! Not gunna lie, the more celebs you have on that have struggled with addiction and made it out the other side, really helps me on my weak days. Knowing we alll on some human level struggle with the same shit really helps.

This was a very good watch. The convos were great. Everyone was humble and so supportive of each other especially in their sobriety. There were a lot of great stories. I'm glad that I made the time for this.

Man idc what anyone says... the Jay and Silent Bob Reboot was fuckin amazing. It just brought back so much nostalgia from my childhood. It brought back the whole Askewniverse, Clerks, Clerks II, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Stike Back, Chasing Amy, Mallrats. All of the original actors from Strike Back and the whole Askewniverse, and the whole idea that Silent Bob and Kevin Smith are 2 different people and his daughter Harley Quinn had me cracking up. Aswell as Jason Mewes daughter in real life played Ben Afflecks daughter in the movie. It was all just simply amazing to me it felt like a masterpiece. And now seeing these 2 dudes together really just puts a smile on my face. They both really just bring me back to the early 2000’s. I can now die a happy man!! Much love Steve-O and Jason!!!!

I'm a recovering addict and I know the feeling. When your in the middle of detoxing opioids the people around you who love you and want you to get through it are you enemy at the time. When you feel better and your head clears you see it was all out of love. But when your sick and they wont let you get high you feel like they hate you I begged please just 1 bag just to feel ok and I did not want to hear no. But I'm blessed to have those people around just like Jay is.

Time has done you well Steve-0. You foxy as hell these days. So good to see you healthy, you were always my favorite growing up.
