I lived a couple of miles from where it happened getting ready for work I'll never forget the phone call from my mother crying she couldn't tell me then my dad couldn't get his words out then he tells me what happened I went into shock I didn't want to believe them then I get a call from work asking if I was ok to work which I wasn't but it would of been worse if I stayed home, We all lost a Great Person with a Heart of Gold I can go on and on about her Thank You All For Showing Y'alls Love For Her 😭💔

@EML Trucking Gloria Estefan doesn’t have a powerhouse voice like Selena did, or the dancing ability Selena did back in her day. Plus Gloria Estefan was Born in Cuba, Selena was a Mexican American that was born here and represented us Latinos who are born and raised here. Two different talents, one was destined to reach far greater success in their career, that being Selena

Some people dance like that because they learned it early from Grandma and Grandpa. It is a cultural thing that is learned. Not everything is from the point of view of carnal, but more from the point of feeling and love and family. I wish there was a way to bridge the gaps of understanding to make it more of an appreciation of history to know of how and why the dance is danced.
