Hello .. here's a little story... For my first Christmas Prezzy my brother Jerry brought me a cassette player and loads of tape cassettes..lol This was the first tape I knew because of the name, Foreigner ..LOVE THEM. DUE to the Jukebox ..in a town 40 minutes away, I would hit the buttons too when we were in shopping or doing laundry. This song was such a hit. Then,... one day years later, I went to an outdoor rock festival, in Lloydminister Alberta / Saskatchewan, Canada, and there he was singing this song....Lou Gramm ... Like in a concert hall, like we were in the ... Royal Albert Hall..or was like listening to a CD at home, ... I was a meter, away in the sprinkling rain and soft wind... .. his voice was the same and his music was 100 %. I will never forget that day, He was brilliant... Made me cry ... It was AWESOME.

What made me love it intensely as soon as it was released is Thomas Dolby's incredible synthesizer lead lines and parts, and how he arranged them. Once I'd heard this and bought the 'She Blinded Me With Science' single backed with 'Flying North', well, it was that b-side that made me buy his album, 'The Golden Age of Wireless'. It was so intensely personal, so connected, so antique and futuristic at the same time - I just loved it so much then, and still do, and always will. So utterly brilliant and gorgeous...

As my husband was coming back from the kitchen, he asked me what I was laughing at. I told him your reactions! They literally made me laugh out loud. And on another note, I had been asked 3 different times to marry 3 separate guys. While they were great guys, I knew they weren't THE one. And after my husband had been married and divorced, we got together. We will soon celebrate our 43rd anniversary. So, I was waiting for him. :)
