I spend hours working with the 2409h on jbl 708 and 705 . That compression driver is really amazing. I'm glad jbl realized it for the hifi maket. You can't go wrong with those speakers.

Love the retro looks! The apple airplay 2 lossless feature is what this speaker has over any other in this price class! Great alternative to Genelec 8361A or 8341.

Pretty sure that a 8361 plays on a different level in terms of performance. Specially with the DSP (SAM) on board. Who cares if youve Airplay Losslesy, just use your laptop or other digital source with an genelec and youve all available streaming services

How do these compare to the L100 Classic MK2?
@AudioAdvice
@AudioAdvice 4 күн бұрын
They are fairly different actually. Much more lower end in the L100 but the fact the 4329 is bi-amped makes the midrange more effortless. Please reach out to our team at www.audioadvice.com to discuss your use case. Thanks for watching

I'm really loving the size and looks of these speakers. Unlike most powered speakers, these reach down to 28hz(-6dB), which justifies the size and means they can deliver an impactful sound without needing a subwoofer. These speakers are the complete package!

Unlike ? When you need lowend use subs with DSP. I rather have good 40 Hz Speaker then a bad 28 Hz (and in passive section there are a lot of bad examples). In the active studio world youve in most cases way better bass performance out of smaller cabinets (Barefoot, Neumann, Genelec etc)

jbl really missed out her on the design, that is a wide baffle and could easily fit a 10" woofer on there and made it a smaller cabinet at the same time. you just have to make it a sealed box, and you get the sound quality benefits and deep bass benefits.
@AudioAdvice
@AudioAdvice Жыл бұрын
These trickle down from the professional 708 speakers, which also use an 8" woofer. That is likely the reason. Thanks for watching

Mmh not bad for some people, they for sure great, but i think a Neumann KH150 with the KH750 Sub are the better solution. Only 500,- more and dedicated Neumann DSP / Correction Software on Board. Flexibility yes, but all these in build wireless stuff is unneccessary and another electronic component i dont trust. I hear active since years without any problems but i always outsource the Media / Music via BluRay Player, PC or TV wich goes into an High End DAC and via XLR to the speaker

People in the studio world are the last people to listen to on speaker advice. How many studios still use yamahs ns10s or even the modern hs series? Yeah those suck. How many studios use b&ws? Those are super colored too. Its not that hard anymore to see which speakers have a flat response and these days you can eq
