Hello Joe, it might be good to point out several recent users and reviews have discussed the app is glitchy and does not recommend the unit until JBL gets their act together. The unit has been out for quite some time and for the price JBL should not put out a product that has issues. The hardware is very good. I hope JBL updates the App so it runs properly because I like the unit and would purchase.

Hello Tony, thank you for reaching out and expressing your concerns. We spent some time today on two large musician gear websites, reading consumer reviews of their Eon Mark 2 purchase, in order to get a view beyond what we've sold to our customers. The published reviews so far confirm our experience. The most recent software update that JBL issued has solved a number of issues that musicians experienced. Their app is now easier to use than before. Yes, there are some consumers who are not happy with their purchase, but many others commenting that they absolutely love the product, and are amazed at the "bang for the buck". We'll take this up with JBL today and see what they come back with. Thanks again Tony

When plugged in and being used on AC, is the battery (batteries if two installed?) also being charged? Thank you for your review.

There are charging instructions as follows: To charge your battery, remove the column with the battery indicator from the woofer and place it into the woofer hook up. Power LED will light GREEN, indicating the battery is charging. For Battery level, please refer to the battery icon on the LCD or the battery icon on the JBL Pro Connect App.

The good news: you can do everything from the back panel. You don't have to use their fine app. Thank you and let us know if you have more questions

Hello Djog, yes, it works well for a DJ application. You can link multiple units together if you need to fill a larger space and / or play loudly

I just spent $1300 on the JBL speaker and use it probably less than seven times and the speaker is out. I don’t know what it what’s going on with the speaker but it’s out my Bluetooth works. It shows that but it won’t give the volume it won’t do anything so I’m very very disappointed in JBL you spent $1300 for speaker and it goes off, less than seven times I went to the store to wear I can program it and even the gentleman said guitar center that the same thing happened to their display so I don’t know what’s wrong withspeaker
