I just realized Swing was almost definitely made for the Great Web. The count of 5 at the beginning mirroring the number of spiders and all the talk of together really makes a lot of sense with the new trailer that has been leaked.

I know what would make the game even better, if we got to go through the portals to other versions of New York. Nueva York, New York Noir, New Pork, York (the Kingdom from the Ultimate Spider-Man show), A New York without a Spider-Man, etc.

I feel like this actually had potential so long as it didn't take too much of the focus away from the single player games, like if insomniac wrote the story but another studio (fully vetted by insomniac) was mainly in charge of development. That would be the ideal scenario, however that's probably not what would have happened so I think sticking with the single player games was ultimately for the best.

I feel like it shouldn’t be a mmo but a multiplayer co-op game with an open world starring Gwen, Peter, Miles,Cindy, and Miguel. With an open world so that you can fight crime in a different part of the city. But come together for missions and then each have unique skills and different fighting styles which make em drastically different. Maybe even add Kane or Ben as DLC. Just the idea would’ve been so cool

imagine if they applied the style of Helldivers missions where you guys need to save people, Do some tasks, One will defend or beat up enemies, Then instead of a boss fight, There's level of difficulty to unlock each mission, Then you earn the suits with different powers or collect samples like in Helldivers 2. Also you can friendly fire like you can web the others or collide , Just like in no way home, If there's no teamwork it won't be an easy task.

multiplayer spidey has huge potential its insane they cancelled this, nevermind the narrative and customization potential, side activities could go crazy too, races across the city swinging, randome crimes that require you to have one player get civilians to safety while the other fights. This makes me really want them to come out with a massive multiplayer online rpg Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse or Spider-Geddon Video Game. I'd love to play as Miles Morales/Spider-Man/Kid Arachnid and team up with Gwen Stacy/Ghost Spider/Spider-Gwen/ Spider-Woman and ability to customize them. Plus going up against Multiverse Villains like Morlun/Kingpin Matt Murdock/Olivia Octavius/Ultimate Green Goblin/Gold Goblin and Superior Spider-Man would be a ton of fun
