In this video I resolve the annoying creaking and squeaking suspense on my 2011 Jeep Compass Limited. The same repair can be done on:
*2007-2017 Jeep Compass and Patriots
*2007-2012 Dodge Caliber
*Potentially 2007-2014 Dodge Avenger

Wow, great video, my Patriot is the worst sounding squeaky bastard in the neighbourhood, I’m gonna have to try this out. Hopefully that does the trick and not the other pieces you were mentioning

just a heads up, if youre dealing with these cars in the rust belt... it may very well be ALL of the bushings in the rear end. they sell master kits!

Thanks! Going to be doing this soon and the19mm tip is great help. While it probably does not matter at all because of the clamp, "I read" somewhere that the force applied to these bushings is mostly towards the front and up. Therefore, it "might" be better to put the open bushing seam towards the bottom. Can't hurt, debatable if it helps.

I put the opening slot on mine on the bottom because of water and debris gets in it can drip out

It appears the bracket had a hole for a zerk fitting and that the original bushing had the relief cut to line up with the zerk fitting. I would look to replace the brackets with the proper zerk fitting location as to make periodic greasing easier.

The rear is moog 200214 the front is 200 216 just did mine and they fit perfectly

nice.. I'm about to do this to my 2014 patriot. I replaced the "upper" control arms as they had a ton of slop and noise, then I noticed the massive gap in the sway bar bushings which is the cause for the dry squeaaaky noise that only happens in warmer weather.
