Hi from New Zealand. Nice to meet you both... great job Jen (and great name too). I lost 28kg going pretty much Keto, had bariatric surgery in March and the been carnivore for the last month. My ankle swelling has gone, I now fit in the chair at my favorite cafe and can do up my shoes without getting breathless. I sleep really well now and don't snore anymore. The best thing fir me is I can now walk 7km whereas I struggled to walk 400m when I started walking. I have another 25kg to lose.

I did carnivore for 3 months and lost 5 lbs but my dr said that I have alot to heal and weight will drop once my body is better. I’m 50 now and have chronic health issues and hormonal problems. Took us years to ruin our health so it’ll take time to lose and heal. You’ve done great and should be proud! Kerry you should consider mouth tape! Look into why people use it daily.

Well, you can't be that weight and metabolically healthy. The weight loss/gain comes when you are metabolically healthy. It just does. The more you have o heal, the longer it seems to take to lose the weight. Jen, it will come. I'm so happy for you both.

Jen, I have to say that I completely understand why it's annoying when people continue to ask about our weight~ it's such a weird thing among women, & I truly wish it would stop. I didn't even own a scale until a few months ago, but I still don't weigh myself often. I also did NOT lose ANY weight the first 2 yrs eating this way, & it turns out I was undereating & also my body was healing internally, even though I had zero known health issues. I just wasn't eating enough fat & protein. Anyhow, after almost 2 yrs, I finally lost about 30lbs~ that was almost a year ago & I haven't lost any more since. In my mind, I'd like to lose another 25-30, but who knows if I will, or when? We've been eating this way for just over 3 years now. My husband lost 60lbs right away, & he'd like to lose another 50. It's just not about the weight loss anymore, because I wouldn't trade all the other benefits for any amount of weight loss. No way. My point is, I think it's smart not to give too much attention to the weight questions. In this way, we focus on all of the truly important factors, like our mental wellbeing, our daily energy, and our longevity. This helps teach other people to do the same Jen, so well done. Enjoying life in AZDan & Sammie Whitson

It will be a bit tricky because I'm on a semi with my husband but I really think I'm ready. I needed to lose about 80-90 pounds also. You're young and should lose it all within your 1st year but im almost 75 and have lost 6 different organs in my body. It's taken me forever but I'm still doing it. You are special and unique and God has given you a platform to help others on their journey. I'm 3 months on loose carnivore and lost 15 lbs. Im 3 lbs to my goal but will continue this way of eating for my health. My digestion has improved greatly, no more massive flatulence every day! I do like my occasional dessert or alcoholic beverage, so I haven't gone strict carnivore. I eat plain greek yogurt with blueberries and raspberries for snack. I eat pork rinds with sour cream. I mainly eat red meat, eggs, a little organic cheese, and bacon.

I went from size XL to medium/small in 6 months on carnivore. But I'm more eager to build muscle and bone strenght than losing weight. And, yes metoo, I love being more active outdoors now. Next week I have my new dog arriving, can't wait to have a walking buddy by my side, giving me a reason to do that extra walk every day🌞 *Can't believe I forgot to mention how it has helped my mental health! Saw a video about how the diet helped Kerry with depression in february this year. Carnivore has helped a lot with my bipolar disorder, I'm less stressed, less depressive, less manic. And yes Jen you are inspiring people who are searching for a way to loose weight that is sustainable. Meat and fat are so satisfying. I lost 70 pounds starting Sept 27, 2020. I have kept the extra weight off and am at my ideal weight at 130. I did it with strict keto, but many days it’s more carnivore.

JEN!!!!!! Amen, amen, amen! You have just inspired me to try this carnivore diet for the Long Haul. I would only make it a couple of weeks and I would just get so depressed and sick of meat and want my sugar fix that I would give up. I love your attitude about it's about how you feel. I want to feel better too. And 30 plus pounds in 3 months is outstanding. I wish that I can do that. But I am like that person who weighs myself every single day sometimes multiple times a day because I want to lose more quickly and when I don't see the results I quit. But I'm going to put that scale away in a drawer and just focus on eating the bacon beef butter eggs coffee and some Dairy possibly and just focus on feeling better. Thank you Jen for your inspiration. I love your attitude. You are so sweet and funny

You are an inspiration Jen! I’m doing Carnivore for health reasons and the weight loss will be a fantastic perk 😂 I’m already fed up with constantly being asked how much weight I’ve lost so far so I now tell people I’ve stopped weighing myself (I’m obviously still weighing myself every month and measuring 😂) but it’s my business and not the main reason I’m following the lifestyle

Me, too. I love ground beef patties, eggs, and butter. Sometimes just ice cold out of the fridge. My digestion seems perfect when it's colder, with fats solid.

Yes! Health is wealth! I don't own a scale! I find out my weight at doctor appointments. Good metabolic health would be AMAZING! That is my goal. People are too visual. Sadly, they measure your success that way. Dont allow others to control your positive results. You look great! Your skin/hair is so pretty. Your body composition changes in many ways that people will not notice for a long time. I've been carnivore/dirty since December and NOT A STEAK EATER! I have a lot of healing to do and in the middle of a "hump". ❤

I have to just say thank you for the content that you and Kerry put out on KZfaq. I live across the lake in Northern Michigan. We used to have an amusement park located in North Muskegon called Deer Park, and then they changed it to Michigan Adventure. It was so fun when I was a kid to feed the deer. I bought a vibration plate because of Jen and Bill Nott, but when I have my headaches, I can not use it.

Oh man, I can't believe that I missed your live Jen, you look absolutely beautiful, and I bet that you're feeling fantastic ❤️ 😊👊 Keep up the great work 👍 👏 💪 My sister fell of the carnivore diet, but I told her that if it was too hard that she could always start with keto first and then transition to carnivore that it's never too late much love from your neighbor in Wisconsin😊

At first, I was doing carnivore for weight loss and my diabetes and migraines. I have been doing this for almost 14 months and only lost 12 pounds, mostly because of all the health problems I have. Things started improving for awhile, but now my kidneys are having problems with PKD and diabetes and cholesterol is getting bad again. I don't know what is going on, but I know that I will not stop carnivore...I feel the best when I do carnivore!

You are awesome Jenn, I have been on carnivore for only six weeks this is amazing. No pain in my hands. Which was a daily. Hypertension, reflux, fatty liver, pre-T2D (only because I decide not to go back to have the medical prophecy spoken over me) I started on Keto lost 30 pounds last November but still felt aweful. I started watching videos read tons of books got my sugar down . But since I’ve been on carnivore hand pain is so much better still gets sore when I overuse them, but I wake up pain free. No refux, hypertension is gone had to stop meds was feeling faint palpated BP is staying between 100-120 on the top now. Haven’t had my blood work done again but waiting until my first ninety days is done before I do that. I feel amazing. I measured because I have had to buy clothes 3 times they fit and a week later too big or too big when they get here. Down 18 inches in my torso since I started keto, but my clothes didn’t change until carnivore. Thanks for all the inspiration.

Michigan is going after small farms like Angel Acres, sisters that had severe health problems and who educated themselves on how to heal their bodies and raise animals. I love raw milk as it helps me while I'm carnivore but Michigan doesn't allow the selling of raw dairy. I wonder if Angel Acres would be interested in Homestead How. For now I buy through Vintage Meadows in Goshen Indiana. They are not carnivore however they know me and they know I'm carnivore and they've asked their butcher to trim less fat off their meats. They're intrigued bc they met me at my higher end of weight and pain. They live seeing me and how I've improved in so many ways over the year I've been buying from them. I credit my farmer in helping me with my new lifestyle. Would you be interested in interviewing farmers that are interested and/or educated on carnivore? They definitely need our support against the gov. How is raw milk more dangerous than alcohol? It's not. I wish they'd allow me to choose for myself.

The local Sheriff can intervene against the USDA. It is his job, if he is willing. He has authority over the Feds. The Constitutional Sheriff's Assoc. was started by a Sheriff who stopped the Feds in Elkhardt, Indiana, from harassing Amish farmers. He made them cease and desist, and they backed off. It must be done on a County level.
