My granny did the same thing. She called me by my name for the first time in 4 years and I was scared to leave the room in case she wouldn’t know me when I came back, but she was hungry so I made her some food and when I came back she still knew me! She passed a few days later but it was the best gift ever❤

😢 my mom’s last words to me were at 1 a.m Thanksgiving morning. I called asking her if I was making the dressing right for later that day. She answered the phone like she was awake! I said “Ma you always answer like you’re wide awake” she said “I’m always gone be right here to help y’all, that’s what I’m here for, I’m gonna ALWAYS BE THERE FOR y’all“ The worst call I ever got was my lil brother calling sounding like a baby at 11 P.M. Thanksgiving night saying our mom passed 😢 those last words I will forever cherish.

I know the feeling of losing a mom as a kid I gave my mom a hard time wanting to to be grown before my time as I got Older my mom and I had a tie that was in breakable we became best friends I told her one day I was sorry for giving her a hard time she sad she never held any of that against me I was a teenager I realize teenagers go through some stuff on a Christmas Day my mom had a headache we thought the flu had returned later she fainted when we got to the hospital we my dad brothers sisters and other family that my mother had a stroke she died two days after New Years and buried her the day before her 51 st birthday I had a sister who passed away years before that I was 29 at that time but it took me years to get over my mom’s passing I would dream that she was still here sometimes I can still hear her voice moms been gone for over 3o years and I can some time hear her voice moms are special because we see her first thing when we come into this world there’s a bond moms gone but not forgotten I tear up just knowing she’s gone to be with my sister also she’s with God her creator

The blessings of the advancements in technology are a blessing. COUNT THEM!! My mom passed 20 years ago. I can’t remember her voice. I have a pictures, they have no sound. If you have voicemail or family video that can be digitized take advantage… you NEVER know

I understand somewhat. My father passed 2015. I had a car accident 2 months later, and my phone was destroyed. I can't bring myself to try and get it fixed cuz I don't know how I will respond if I can't have my vmail restored. I know it's backwards thinking😢😢

same, it's been 17 years, I can not even remember my mom's voice, I'd NEVER thought I'd forget it, but I know if I ever heard it again, I'd know who it belong to, I wish she wasn't camera/video shy, but I had to respect her wishes, so ALL we have are paper and digital photos and of course our memories

I was with my Mom when she took her last breath. I loved her so much. How I remember that love is just pouring all of that into my daughter, and just to demonstrate that love with whomever crosses my path. ❤ Carrying that love forward is intentional.

My father's last words to me were "I love you". I got to the hospital after work to visit, check on him, and do for him what needed to be done. He had taken a turn for the worst. I called my family and told them to get to the hospital ASAP. Daddy didn't say anything to me but when my family got there he looked and smiled at everyone except me. I didn't understand it until my sis in love pulled me to the side and said "he's not ready to let you go. Just give him a little while". Everyone was getting ready to go but I didn't want to go. Before I walked out he looked at me with a tear going down his face and said "I love you". The next morning around 630am, I called my mom to check on him because she always got a morning report . He had passed away. That has and will always be my wonderful memory of my dad. ❤❤❤

We did hospice at home for my dad 5 years ago. Last coherent sentence my dad said to me was "I love you, too". Last coherent/intentional word he said to me 2 days before he passed was my middle name which is what he always called me. He knew who I was til the end and it meant so much.

My God...My God, and for the next 13 years, I took excellent care of my dad. He was so very grateful, and I was too. I honor my mother's request. My father was an outstanding father. Those last words... They always hit you when they're gone. I remember my mom just telling me that she was gonna be alright and that everything would be alright. She had some kind of pulmonary disease and she went into a coma later that day and passed away 3 days later

There was A Time My Grandmother and I was On the phone. I Would Always Call her. I Loved Her Sooo Much! In The Conversation she Talked about My Young Uncle How He Was A Nerve Wreck To her, A Grown man Age 26 Still living With Her and Grandfather.. She Then Said To me I Made Her Sooo Proud and Happy.. I Was Once A Very Troubling Kid, Always Fighting EVERYONE Young and Old. Getting into All Sorts of Situations.. Having psychotic Attacks.. But Later in life Became A Man of God. Annointed and Called Of God Into His Ministry.. Gotten Married At 22 yrs of age. While Listening To my 61 Year Old Grandmother Speak To Me then at age 23.. I Remember Saying to myself.. "Oh No!! I'm About To Lose My Grandmother". Near A Week After The Call.. I Recieved A Phone Call from my Aunt. To Inform Me, my "Nana" (Grandmother) Died, (In her Sleep).. I Became A Total Wreck For 14 Years From That Very Moment.😢

God just never gives you no more than you can bare even when it may seems so difficult to understand but the Lord He always make a way somehow to carry the burdens of His people and to let you know that He’s right there by your side it really hurts to have those sorts of such difficult situations that happens to any family members but continue to trust in the Lord Jesus with all your heart He certainly heard your cry be bless of the Lord 🥰🥰🙏🙏😇😇
